But few as corrosive to science as this kind of claptrap which has grown exponentially with the internet.

I teach Physics and Earth Science. Do we know it all HJ? Is pure science done? Is there no more to learn that we don't understand? We can't even say exactly what causes gravity. Some of the most basic questions we still don't have an answer for. Let alone harder questions, such as the Grand Unification Theory. We don't know how all of these laws work together as one, yet we suspect they do, from the moment of singularity in The Big Bang. So much we don't know.

We know so little, a grain of sand, in a Universe full of knowledge to be known.

Bob Lazar of 1980s fame and his disclosure of what we are really doing and hiding in Area 51, said the alien space crafts hidden there use element 115 and rides on self-generated gravity waves.

Our government has been forced to admit that Area 51 does indeed exist in a court of law, thanks to a lawsuit brought by those who were working out there with hazardous waste. Science has recently discovered element 115. We have now confirmed gravity waves. Bob Lazar was telling the truth and was way before his time, and the government was trying to desperately debunk him. Looks like he has been proven correct on 3 things he disclosed due to working in Area 51, and being on the U.S. Government payroll.

Waiting on your response Klimmer:
In that case why are the aliens [in Hollywood movies] almost exclusively presented as malevolent enemies intent on enslaving or exterminating humanity? Why wouldn't [the government] be pushing more of a peaceful galactic population agenda of comfort and leisure if they want us to welcome the idea of aliens, instead of perpetuating hate, violence and distrust?

Contextual clarifications included to save having to bounce between pages. My unedited question remains on the previous page.

This is exactly what I'm talking about.

Do you have the slightest inkling of the stability of 115 isotopes? And exactly how, even if there were a craft at area 51, which there has never been, but even if there were, how would anyone there have the slightest clue 115 occurred or was involved with any aspect of it?

And then there's 'self-generated gravity waves'. Do you have the slightest inkling of what a gravity wave is? Or how stupid it sounds that an object that would fit in area 51 could generate detectable waves or waves of any significance? Or, given how weakly they interact, just how ludicrous the idea is that they could be 'used' for any purpose by a craft of any kind? And once again, how would anyone at area 51 deduce that they used gravitational waves; I mean how would they pair some physical feature of a craft with a gravitational wave capability?

Both claims are ridiculous and embarrassing to hear from anyone claiming a basic understanding of physics.

LEFH,

Hollywood has gone both ways. They have done many malevolent and benevolent UFO/ET movies and continue to do so. Perhaps now more malevolent.

I happen to believe the Worldwide UFO/ET is real. The question is who are they? The Bible has the answers. They aren't extra-terrestrial (well that can be debated), they are intra-terrestrial. Satan, Lucifer has "the power of the air" here on Earth at this time. He's been banished to Earth, along with all his minions, the 33% of the Angels who fell and went with Satan. They aren't who they claim to be. They lie. Their father Satan, is the father of lies. They deceive. That's what they do.

Even the famous scientist and non-believer Jacques Vallee figured it out a long-time ago. Jacques Vallee said aliens/ET have more in common with demonic forces expoused in The Bible than beings from another star system. I agree with him.

Take it up with Bob Lazar and others looking into it ...
http://www.gravitywarpdrive.com/Element_115

There is a stable isotope of element 115 theoretically. According to Bob Lazar they have it.

By the way another former Area 51 retired Lockheed scientist, Boyd Bushman, now passed away, confirms Bob Lazar's story ...

Healyje - my exact thoughts. Klimmer, info on half life:

Ununpentium has four isotopes with known half-lives, the most stable of which is 289Uup, with a half-live of about 220 milliseconds.

I hope the voyage is short 'cause that ain't a good fuel for a long trip. But, then again, maybe that's why the Ark has that air scoop and is all aerodynamical.........

I think the point is, Klimmer, to be a good teacher you have to believe and enjoy what you are teaching.

Klimmer, I tried, I really tried. I tried to watch a youtube video, "TOP SECRET UFO TECHNOLOGY Russian Area 51 KAPUSTIN YAR". But it was bullshit; I couldn't take it, I had to stop. Stock footage of Russian planes, explosions, people talking and talking, but no facts, no evidence. Just talk. How can you actually, really, truly, believe this stuff?

That doesn't really offer any sort of answer to my question at all. But I suppose that when you lack any facts, science or logic in your argument deflection becomes one of your most important weapons.

Bob Lazar is a crackpot and fraud from start to finish. His background, claims and theories have all been discredited.

This is the unexamined aspect of all you present which is the key attribute of science which makes it science. A thousand Lazars crop up every day and science routinely deals with them as a matter of course by them never surviving even the most cursory peer reviews.

How is it you somehow unfailingly ignore this key component of science?

imagine you are walking on a high Sierra ridge somewhere, just minding your own business with a group of friends, acquaintances and family. It's a beautiful day in the Range of Light.

You become aware of a sound coming from above, it seems to be getting closer, you're a bit nervous and suddenly individuals in your group panic, chaos everywhere you excitedly run, trying to find a hiding place.

As you dodge around the boulders and scree, the sound continues to pursue you, you're breathing very hard even as you are well conditioned and then you are blanketed by a net, you fall over tangled in its web.

As you writhe on the ground you are suddenly handled, blind folded, hobbled and injected with something that forces you to loose you ability to move, to fight, and just as suddenly you loose the feel of the ground, the cold air blowing across your body and wind blowing in your ears.

In a daze you barely recall being poked and prodded with a lot of "people" standing around you murmuring, you can't quite catch the language, you don't understand it, you're totally out of it. Time passes by slowly but then you are jerked back into the air, that buzzing sound, and in time you feel the Earth again.

The buzzing moves a bit away, the net is removed, another pinch as you are needled again, the hobbles removed and the blindfold taken off you blink uncomprehendingly at that bright sun.

Glancing around you see people running away from you towards the buzzing, you take off in the other direction, spotting another group, familiar but not familiar, you head towards them...

it's all quiet again, you go and introduce yourself... but wonder if they would ever believe your story.

Unfortunately, I have to work and can't devote full time to this vital topic. Sitting at home now, glass of wine in hand, brain pulsing like an angry tiger, thoughts flowing like liquid magma, I'm in the groove. Must ...think... this... through.....

Klimmer, this whole thing, this massive and lengthy post, is simply a circumlocutory and pleonastic circle of oratorical sonorousity circumscribing an atom of ideality lost in its verbal profundity. Or so I strongly believe.

Let's recapitulate recent events.

1) We have discovered that the Giant Ark has an air intake scoop, leading to some interesting theories about interstellar travel.
2) Ghost has provided incontrovertible cartoonographic evidence that, in fact, freakin' Tintin is involved!
3) Randisi flaunts his 'French'.
4) I reveal the existence of the Birdmen of Machu Picchu, to everyone's amazement.
5) Randisi reveals that the Chinese are in control of youtube in a weird Catch-22 deal! Klimmer's main source of evidence may be compromised!
6) Klimmer informs us of the existence of 18' tall giants, native to North America, who's discovery was hidden by the evil forces of the Smithsonian Institution!
7) Ghost presents more caratoonographic evidence that freakin' Tintin is even more involved and that the giants were Tibetan Yeti!
8) Randisi stumbles across cartoonographic proof of the existence of the Birdmen!
9) Wait! It's a Nephilim/Yeti. Brotherbock is vindicated, his earlier posts were right!
10) Ghost provides even more evidence of the Birdmen and indicates freakin' Tintin is in this even deeper than we thought!
11) Randisi finds the Birdmen's landing strip, hidden in plain sight.
12) Klemmer asserts Hollywood and the US government are in cahoots, in some way, about aliens and are softening us up for .....
13) There is much interesting discussion about item 12). The general conclusion is that Klemmer's thesis might be a little bit, well, off.......
14) Randisi discovers Upsadaisium!
15) Ed Hartouni asserts we are sheep, but handsome ones.

Wow. Hope I haven't left anything relevant out!

Edit: Damn! I forgot about the Nephelitic Knights Templar (who clandestinely run the Smithsonian, by the way). Courtesy Randisi.

Edited for language.

Said Glenn Simpson, a.k.a., Klimmer: "Well, we all face judgement. I guess you'll know then, but it will be too late to do anything about it. I suggest you figure it out this side of eternity."

You sanctimonious, old-testament, fundie twit. For you to suggest anything to me about how to think or live my life, is the height of self-righteous arrogance. Given the massive arc of lunacy you've managed to spout in this thread, you've got precious little credibility to claim to know the mind of gOd and even less latitude to suggest that we all face judgement! You're claiming special insight because you believe you're blessed? You are a blatherskite who has mastered the art of twaddle.

Consider this quote of John Muir's, and reflect on whether his views on life and death correctly mirror your certain faith in a vengent and wrathful gOd at the end:

On no subject are our ideas more warped and pitiable than on death...Let children walk with nature, let them see the beautiful blendings and communions of death and life, their joyous inseparable unity, as taught in woods and meadows, plains and mountains and streams of our blessed star, and they will learn that death is stingless indeed, and as beautiful as life, and that the grave has no victory, for it never fights. All is divine harmony.
—John Muir (1838 - 1914)

You're more like Daniel Muir, his fundamentalist Calvinist father, who John successfully struggled to extricate himself from. Fire and brimstone with no compelling evidence.

You can make Pascal's Wager if you want, but I've got more courage than that.

“What Pascal overlooked was the hair-raising possibility that God might out-Luther Luther. A special area in hell might be reserved for those who go to mass. Or God might punish those whose faith is prompted by prudence. Perhaps God prefers the abstinent to those who whore around with some denomination he despises. Perhaps he reserves special rewards for those who deny themselves the comfort of belief. Perhaps the intellectual ascetic will win all while those who compromised their intellectual integrity lose everything.

There are many other possibilities. There might be many gods, including one who favors people like Pascal; but the other gods might overpower or outvote him, à la Homer. Nietzsche might well have applied to Pascal his cutting remark about Kant: when he wagered on God, the great mathematician 'became an idiot.”
—Walter Kaufmann

Keep your f*#king religion to yourself! Perhaps you have wagered and become an idiot; I have faith that I'm already saved in ways you can't possibly imagine.

If aliens existed we would be able to pick up alien bits and pieces like Native Indian arrowheads

On all my 1000s of adventures, I was highly attuned to looking for anything that looks like something of note: rocks, crystals, pretty gravel, native flora and fauna, new routes or bouldering, Indian artifacts, meteorites, natural and physical wonders and/or any alien bits and pieces..

Nothing so far, and all my associates report the same
Nothing, Zero, Nada, null

Not a single "other worldly alien life form produced" artifact has ever been found on earth

Were the Andean birdmen gay?

They may have been, but Tintin's photo of Thompson and Thomson offers no real evidence, taken, as it was, on the moon, not in the Andes.

However, there is other evidence...

You decide.
