The triple-whammy shutdown trying to hunt elk north of Elko, NV.
First... punch through an ice cap into a mud hole. That was fun.
Then a two-foot deep snow drift on half-bald street tires. Had to chain up to get out of that.
And finally, a broken shift tower.
Back to Elko for repairs and a hot drink, then try it again via a different route.
