the pic one post up is "greg's face" at woodson, just downhill from seminar wall. one page back, the dude with the bushy hair spotting on the roof is jeff almodovar. the cut dude bustin' the mantle with the "rising sun" headbad is greg epperson. i've done that roof problem but damn if i can't place it...what/where is that thing??

NB4-I know that's Woodsen and I remember the day. I could not believe anyone could climb that thing. I think, not real sure, that RV, Woodward were there. They may remember more than I do.

Speaking of tube socks and "Old Santee," here's my wife Liz in '79 or '80. Living in La Mesa at the time, we used to get over there a lot, and Liz's favorite person to run into was bvb--super mellow, super friendly, great boulderer.

Coming from you, RV, I take that as the highest of compliments. But like I said earlier in the thread it was all your idea. You mentioned how great making a CD of all the old pictures would be, at our home after Dan's service.

bvb- Did you see the orange card on the left that says 102. Did Woodsen have more than one bouldering contest? I seem to recall walking along the road that winds up the hill just taking photos of anyone on a problem. But not 100% certain it's Woodsen. Anyone out there that can help?
Oh, and this end of the Thread is off limits to Mr. Fish. I can't afford to get all riled up again. hahaha

Called "The Circle Crack", gentlemen (and ladies)... Given the name because of the 360° turn usually done while moving from the back to the front of the crack.
Was a matter of pride to do it without a rope, BITD. Last time I did that was with Yabo...

bvb- Pressing out with the red sun headband....those don't look like Eppi's legs. (I guess by now we know who at least one of the leg experts on ST is) No long hair, maybe I have the wrong picture. We need an Eppi confirmation...or at least a close friend. Who would be spotting him in the pic? lrl
