Hey Edward T, I agree with your post, but have to fix one thing.
The fact that so many people think this old codger is the best candidate says plenty about the state of the Republican party.

As dingus points out, Dems have done better with youthful candidates.

Also, don’t pick someone because it is their “turn,” e.g. Mondale, Hillary, Gore.

Bernie would be a path for trump to again lose the popular vote while gaining the electoral victory..
