One of today's brouhahas:
US election: Anger over Donald Trump gun rights remarks
10 August 2016
Republican Donald Trump has sparked anger by appearing to suggest his supporters could stop his rival Hillary Clinton by exercising their gun rights.
He said that Mrs Clinton would put liberal justices on the Supreme Court if she wins the presidency in November, threatening gun ownership rights.
Speaking at a rally in North Carolina, Mr Trump hinted that gun rights advocates could stop her taking power.
That sparked an online backlash, many accusing him of inciting violence.
But his campaign team said he was actually talking about getting gun rights supporters to the ballot box to enact change politically.
The remarks that sparked the firestorm were made at a rally in Wilmington on Tuesday afternoon.
Read and judge for yourself what he was suggesting.
The Republican presidential nominee said of his Democratic opponent: "Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks.
"But the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know."
Trump's stature is going down day by day. It looks as though there is no limit to what the man will say or do. Frankly, this is not a person with whom anyone would choose to do business.

As I called it - November is way too far out. Trump can't keep his mouth shut, none of his handlers can get a rein on him, and there's still 90 more days for him to derail any remaining delusions voters might harbor that he is capable of sound judgment, propriety or has any grasp on reality.

I did not investigate the dust up between Escopeta, and whom ever .
I don't care if the guy traps n kills shjt, I don't care who he votes for.
I would tie in with him in a flash and think he knows his crap noise too
Punk was born of the apathy of youth. Me., I was there when
punk bands vomited forth from the bowls of abused childhood.
To eventually go full circle, the old junky geezers all of 26 years old.
Took liberties they shouldn't have,
then when the cops got wind, they left & formed black FAG! (Oopsie) Flag.
They, then, got the best places closed down to that sort of clowning . . .
Phook this !
Then, after posting this I went to see what the 'small rock', was going on?
Ho no no shjt it's the tragedy of the fighting fool topic !
The world is run by money that wants wars to hide the criminal acts surrounding
All the things that go down .
Someone else some where here already said this more directly:
"The Military / industrial complex" runs the shows around the globe.
The groaning behemoth, that only consumes is only interested in
the point where the largest profits, off the weak ,
the dying and the dead, can be had.
Timid & cool Nita?
Down in the dirt?
What has become of the all the gems of the whole site?
if all ya all do is fight about the things you can do no things about
really.
Trump, or H Clinton?
Who will persevere more of what we care about,
because both will take us to the very brink if not into all out War ,
with a mandatory service act to steal both
sons and daughters from their loving lives,
to stand up to the jive that a peace Nick black man ,
oh, half white, allowed to take place world wide.
About the best two legacies Obamalama has left us; an absolutely broken United States Of America, United in only the name alone.
And the successful resurgent tyranny of an reexpanding Russia.
Anyway the thing I wanted to know ?
.JFPO, what's that stand for?
Website
http://www.jpfo.org/
Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) is a group dedicated to the preservation of gun rights in the United States and "to encourage Americans to understand and defend all of the Bill of Rights for everyone". The group was founded by former firearms dealer Aaron S. Zelman in 1989. The JPFO interprets the Second Amendment as recognizing a pre-existing natural right of individuals to keep and bear arms. It is based in Hartford, Wisconsin.[1]
JPFO takes the position that an armed citizenry is the population's last line of defense against tyranny by their own government.[2][3] The organization is noted for producing materials (bumper stickers, posters, billboards, booklets, videos, etc.) with messages that equate gun control with totalitarianism. The most famous of these are the "All in favor of Gun Control raise your right hand" materials, which features a drawing of Hitler giving a Nazi salute.[4] The organization also attempts to prove that genocide is linked to gun control, by showing that most countries where a genocide has taken place had gun control first.[5]
Phook this !
So now armed with this knowledge I need to say I am not anti gun!
I'm sad that life is always so complexe.
If my neighbor, or my neighborhood were to disarm, the fear of attack would cause a situation
Of self fulfilling prophecy .
The lesser drug lords, at war with each other, would turn to kidnapping.
If we look at where this has been tried, by letting the criminals have ' Hallowed Halls'
it was not this way 40 yrs ago.
generations of bribing leaders,
Running roughshod over society has made the rural areas no longer safe to go to.
That means more segmentation of the have nots, driving them to desperation. Thus primed the populace sees kidnapping, as a way to strike at the 'Haves'
Not a healthy society .

One hundred years ago, around the time of the First Great War, this was what used to happen in rural America.
The farmers in an area would band together when a disaster befell a neighbor's barn. It was rather like a mini Facelift. Just like now, there was evil in the world.
The world is never all one thing. The chance that good can be increased and evil decreased comes only when people stand up, stand up together, and continue standing up till the job is done. That's what an election is.
Edit:
The barn burned down in 1916 because my father had been experimenting with the timing of the Fairbanks/Morse engine driving the milking system. The photo belongs to the county historical society who claims this was the last barn raising in that part of New York State.

Hahaha. Farmers still help neighbors to rebuild their barn. You just aren't there to see it.
Oh and in politics Obeezy slid another executive order under the desk that chips away at gun owners. How far can they push it till it blows up? Hope it's after I've spent my retirement.

Maybe cops shouldn't be allowed to have guns, can we agree on that?
A woman was fatally shot by a police officer while participating in a "shoot-don't shoot" exercise during a two-hour citizens academy hosted by the Punta Gorda Police Department in southwest Florida.
Police Chief Tom Lewis said the shooting happened Tuesday night as two of the 35 participants were randomly selected to take part in a live role-playing scenario "in which they make decisions on using simulated lethal force."
Lewis said Mary Knowlton, a librarian, was "mistakenly struck with a live round."

Edit: HA!!!! I just turned this into a GUN Thread
Careful with that. You'll get the ankle biters riled up. Might even get a song dedicated to you.
My Dad was a rifleman in the corps and was on the team. Since I've retired from shotgun competition, I'm enjoying exploring rifle-craft in the name of being a more confident big game hunter.
Sounds like your dad was a good dude. I have yet to pass through the tunnel you just emerged from but I did enjoy my final duck hunt with him last year and got a picture that will last a lifetime.
So, did Norton run off to look for excuses to this latest attack on firearms that he was ignorant of? I thought Norton was in Kali btw? It seemed to suit him.
EDIT: Your comment about scabbards and Harley's reminded me of an old timer that used to roll up to TripleBBB on his Harley with a leather scabbard. It was cool. He'd probably get gunned down in the name of officer safety today, but I liked it.
