74 Landcruiser. Wish I would have held onto it. Memories of driving in the CO high country in winter, logging roads. Sweet beast. One drunken night my brother and I stripped it down, roof, doors and all and went on a less than sober drive thru TX cotton fields, up a dam wall. Do that today and it would be bustville.

Rat Racer. Good one, JohnTP! And seeing that's a scan from a faded photograph, I'm guessing you were once the driver?

^^^ The CHP would still require that to have chains for 1 cm of snow!
So we’re watching the BBC Father Brown mystery series. The hot heiress Bunty drives this
gorgeous thang...

I’m confused because it has a floor mounted gear shift yet in my limited research it appears
that a column mount was stock.

Yeah Roy. 66 Mustang. Dad and I spent weeks bondo-ing it and otherwise fixing it up from the wreck it was when I bought it. I was 17. There used to be a road in Dallas that was pretty winding. Me and some friends used to rat race on it. F*#king amazing we didn't kill ourselves.

What does that puppy cost? Used to work at a place about a hundred yards from Carroll's shop in Cali. Drool..

Are those real carbon fiber or this?
Edited to add: Fiber orientation on that wheel does look like the real thing; if so pretty pricey. I'm not convinced carbon fiber is the ideal material for a street car wheel though; a couple of whangs against the curb and it's re-lam the de-lam as we used to say in the business... Not sure how a wheel is made though and guess it is some sort of dry layup with a resin injection and cooking in a mold.
