Peninsula Developmental Road, Cape York Peninsula, Queensland, Australia.
60 mph dirt highway (speed necessary to overcome the killer washboard. Plus it's such a bloody huge place you have to go fast if you want to get anywhere).
The bars on the grill aren't just for show. Watch out for those 'roos mate!

A river runs next to it.
A canal flows from that. And a small creek runs next to that.

@Jamesthomsen, what tires are your sporting on the Sprinter? Is it 4x4?
255/85/R16 looks good to me, seen a few folks doing them, but not supported by Mercedes and not clear how whacked the ESP safety features would be by 33" vs 30.5" tires.

fifth gear velocity scanning for glowing retinas beneath a white hot rearview

of a barn bound dirt road anytime after elkthirty
From 2007 to 2009, more than 190 collisions involving wildlife have occurred on the section of I-40 between Williams and Twin Arrows, Arizona. Elk constitute the majority (74%) of all animals involved in collisions along I-40 and, in some areas, contribute to more than 25% of all accidents - http://www.azgfd.gov/w_c/Elk_I40.shtml
