After looking at the asset list of Rupert Murdoch, thanks for the link, I am canceling my subscription to National Geographic. I didn't know he owned it, but I refuse to contribute to anything that he as owner of Fox News owns and profits off of. He, and his news channels are one of the biggest devisive element in the US today as you stated, and he should be charged with treason as far as I am concerned.

Unfortunately, he's not an American citizen.

National Geographic will be doing an article on the history of climbing in Yosemite, including a sidebar on the FaceLift. So maybe not all bad.

The "liberal news media bias" is one of the biggest fairy stories of the right-wing echo chamber.

Back in a few hundred posts, when I can mooch more internet time.

I still believe that Fox News is ground zero for this extreme, ugly, fact-averse, hard-right political discourse in America today. Trump is more of a symptom. I think that Hannity is like Josef Goebbels in Nazi Germany. He is the mouthpiece of lies and hate and misinformation that appeal to the basest of our instincts (particularly in the less-educated).

3.2 million viewers. What is that, 1% of the country?
