I suggest rebuilding and getting a lot younger.

trade Kobe while they can and suck it up for the next few years. or just suck.

Nucleus of Laker rebuild. Hefner point, Arnold shooter, Wilt does it all, a couple of walk-ons. Babe comes off the bench.

Oh, the Laker lost tonight? Last I heard, Thunder 30 fastbreak points, Lakers 6. Sounds like the current Laker bunch may have been around too long.

It ever occur to anyone that "Lakers" doesn't make any sense as a name in LA?
I didn't know until now they were from the land of 1000 Lakes!

Actually, it's 10,000 lakes. And, Minneapolis is called the City of Lakes.

One horrible LA team down - one to go!

Clippers were swept by Spurs.

^^ Then why not the land of 10,100 lakes? or 9,990? Why would someone call a sports team lakers, when lagoons was available. Think about it.

Los Chingaderos de la Playa has a nice ring to it. Don't they still practice in Westchester?

"Lakers" doesn't make any sense as a name in LA
"After a recent near-accident on a British Airways flight — the plane lost power as it approached the runway from the air — the pilot singled out the co-pilot for his heroism in averting disaster: “Mr Coward did a most remarkable job in landing the aircraft.”
