Good bands came out od SD in the 90's as well.

Sonic Youth was more of the end of real punk, hence 'The year punk broke'....but Daydream Nation is probably the best alternative album of all time (me thinks)!

Greetings everybody,John here from NMN and with a heavy heart I must announce the retirement of No Means No.A hiatus became a long hiatus and a lingering hiatus has become a permanent one. Thirty-five years and countless miles, a couple thousand shows and many more beers, a bunch of tunes and sweaty hoards of great fans, I can't say thanks enough to everyone.I will continue to post here on our page about the Robots and future projects if and when they happen. Hoping to have the debut Compressorhead album out by next march so you have not heard the last of things yet.So cheers everyone! Raise a glass....xo

It was a punk azz response to seeing what is 'the on going theme that " punk" is now just about making money off the angst of kids.
The need for a more focused and so resilient youth group force is needed now.
I see that, no I hear that Punk Rock sound can and does spread past generations.
I've not been a fan of GreenDay they seem like posers aimed at the making money thing
One or two off the charts hits and some lyrics I do like
but that picture and the post about the memorabilia burning ,
It is my main focus.
mixed with life's detritus and after football hangover , I fell asleep
Before the end of the overtime and missed the end of the game
So important just the worst thing since the election for me
