Re: (1) Belief Upgrade Strategy (2) Belief Discipline Remodeling

To: Everyone interested in better practices in the "practice" of living (who isn't a supernaturalist) and everyone interested in general life guidance "modeling"

__

Until modernity gets around to building a modern spiritual belief discipline practice-- one based on the Scientific Story-- and until it gets around to institutionalizing it socially-- you must "take ownership" of your own spiritual belief discipline practice and work it out for yourself.

An organizing principle that worked for me: Develop your spiritual discipline on a basis of (1) "what is" in terms of facts, (2) "what matters" to the heart, (3) "what works" in terms of life strategies.

Lastly: Insofar as you can work this "lifesmart trinity" into a narrative-- a comprehensive overarching narrative that ties everything together-- in a way that works for you (regarding guidance, inspiration, support, etc.), the better.

Favorite passages from the Grand Bible (as opposed to the Holy Bible):

"To know what you don't know is critical to successful solutions. Dealing with your ignorance in a conscious way leads to a keener awareness." (Koberg 3:8)

"What appears to be is not always what really is. Perception and reality differ." (Koberg 3:16)

Modern Miracles do happen . . .

The suffering servant is an obvious prophecy to those of us who know Yeshua, Jesus on a personal level. This scripture in Isaiah is a prophecy of the coming Messiah. He would come first as a suffering servant. The fact that Bible Code tells us what his exact Earthly name would be hundreds of years prior to his appearance on Earth, and yet this discovery was not meant for their day, but ours, about 2 thousand years after his life on Earth, is none other than a miracle and proof that GOD works in wonderful and mysterious ways.

If you want evidence Of GOD and evidence of modern day miracles and that they do indeed exist, there you go.

There is no other explaination.

Additional edit:

These wondeful secrets and these revealed messages from GOD are for our time.

Daniel 12:4 (KJV)
"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."

2 John 1:9, Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

2 Corinthians 5:21, For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

re: three "fundamental" topics

From the Grand Bible, the "Facts" section:

(1) re: spirituality: No ghost in the machine. The carnate spirit dies with the body. (2) re: reproduction: Humans bear humans, not Gods. (Julius Caesar of the Romans was not a God. Jesus of the Hebrews was not a God. Ptolemy and his sister Cleopatra of Egypt were not Gods.) (3) re: evil: Bad things in the living world happen ("stuff happens") not because of any "Fall" (the Mosaic narrative, for which descendants have to pay the price and be forgiven) but because forces (e.g., entropy to predation) are set against them, against living things.

Ancient (traditional) theist doctrines (such as those referenced above) fly in the face of modern scientific wisdom. Science and traditional theology are not compatible.

The propaganda of a dying institution-

"Science and traditional theism are compatible." Hogwash. This is hogwash. It's time we stopped buying into it. In the interest of being more informed citizens of a modern democracy. In the interest of better practices.

People who would use their authority (e.g., a policeman, teacher) to say to kids (either directly or indirectly) that science and traditional theism are compatible are spewing nonsense. Don't let them get away with it.

HFCS,

If you ever become a public school teacher be warned, like I said before, the Seperation of Church and State in public institutions cuts both ways, and I support it.

You can not advocate one religion over another and you can not make fun or belittle anyone's religion. Could you handle doing that?

You can talk about all of them though and discuss them openly in context and explain them as the followers would and as they believe their faiths to be, obviously not in a science classroom since it would be out of context, but in a social science classroom no problem.

George Harrison was a truth seeker. He admonished everyone to keep seeking after GOD before he sadly passed away. He was a very deep spiritual man. I miss him.

Matthew 7:24-27, “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

There's more hidden in the words of the Bible to give you real forgiveness peace, joy, and the Love of God!

Ephesians 3:14-21, For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

the important thing here is that *my* imaginary friend is the One True imaginary friend - the hundreds worshiped before and after my imaginary friend's marketing blitz began are False imaginary friends, and mine is the only true imaginary friend...

it's ok to be scared, people - life is scary. But you don't have to be deceived and fleeced...

my favorite part in the bible is where jesus says what it takes to follow him, and NO ONE TODAY DOES THIS...
