People don't want their reality challenged.
That's pretty much true.
Americans are generally brainwashed into sterile.
They eat sterile foods, indulge their consciousness sterile whitewash, (lots of mainstream media), and then masquerade all that garbage as advanced knowledge.

To add a bit of climbing content please refer to the last cartoonograph in Ghost's comment above. Note that the ice axe can also be used to protect yourself from giants. Always carry one. I do, all the time, everywhere, just in case.......

And while we're on the subject, that whole "Andean Birdman" thing is not without foundation, but it's not exactly what many people believe...

Frankly, at this juncture, I suggest we put Occam's razor in Schrodinger's box and call it a cat. All this information, all the cartoonographs, I've become overwhelmed. Klimmer is............ starting to make sense.
Randisi, thanks for that cartoonograph; the Birdmen of Machu Picchu are real!!!!!
My G_d, a landing strip!
Edit: Why am I having so much fun with this? I'm sitting here laughing like an idiot.

Does Klimmer teach his students about giants and the ark on the moon?

Ghost, where do the Thompson Twins fit in to all this? Do they work for the Smithsonian suppressing evidence? The plot thickens.

Even the Apollo 20 story helped inspire at least 2 Hollywood movies, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and Apollo 18.
Wait, are you really using a TRANSFORMERS movie and a cheap sci-fi horror as evidence in your camp?

Every time I see this Klimmer thread on the front page I quietly admit to myself he was right about 2 things:
1) It's very OT - definitely on solid ground with that call
2) It's of high interest - this is the one that gives me pause. I really wish Klimmer wasn't right about this being "of high interest". It doesn't speak well of us as a group.

I said ...
Even the Apollo 20 story helped inspire at least 2 Hollywood movies, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and Apollo 18.
You asked ...
"Wait, are you really using a TRANSFORMERS movie and a cheap sci-fi horror as evidence in your camp?"
Only to make the connection that, that is how disclosure of the UFO/ET phenomenon is done subtly. The Apollo 20 story broke big in April of 2007 and got bigger and bigger and more well known. The 2 movies followed afterwards and borrowed heavily from the Apollo 20 story. That is how the UFO/ET phenomenon disclosure is done. Mix the truth with fiction. Now you have plausible deniability. The government can say it's all fiction as long as no one can prove the reality and truth of it.
But one day when everyone knows the full truth for themselves since we will all see it in the heavens wide open so everyone sees it and knows beyond a shadow of a doubt, as foretold in the Bible, then TPTB can point backwards and say, "We tried to tell you as subtlety as possible by leaking the truth in as many benign ways as possible, so we didn't have a War of The Worlds public negative reaction." They can say, "Why do you think there were so many Hollywood sci-fi UFO/ET themed movies over the years, with the number of these block-buster movies being released at exponential numbers? We tried to tell you."

That's how it works.

So, just to clarify my understanding, you're saying that ufo and alien movies are secretly being pushed and/or sponsored by the U.S. government to surreptitiously inure Americans to the idea of alien visitations to Earth?

They've been doing it for a very long time. Like I said, it works both ways. Plausible deniability.

I find most climbers have a high requirement for 'novelty' in their lives and I think, like anything else, that requirement s a bell curve across the demographic. I suspect Klimmer is afflicted by a more extreme form of this and is an outlier on the bell curve. Otherwise it's hard to account for such an unexamined and uncritical acceptance of fabricated nonsense and the more elaborate the nonsense the better. Would be a harmless obsession if he weren't a teacher.

In that case why are the aliens almost exclusively presented as malevolent enemies intent on enslaving or exterminating humanity? Why wouldn't they be pushing more of a peaceful galactic population agenda of comfort and leisure if they want us to welcome the idea of aliens, instead of perpetuating hate, violence and distrust?

I'm not rattled because none of it is reality - it's all nonsense. Have you ever taught physics? Did you listen to yourself when you did, or read the book? It doesn't seem like it or you wouldn't be constantly ignoring and bending the realities it describes.
