See the Drudge Report snap poll to see what the voters, or as many here would describe the racist, bigoted, idiotic hillbilly populace, think.

Trump wins the general election = there is a chance he can work with both parties in congress and get something done.
Hillary wins the general election = nothing happens; party of no vs the president it hates.

Ya think? This morning, I was trying to visualize, Trump Administration legislation, moving through a Rubio/Cruz Senate.
A lot depends on events. Things have been relatively quiet recently and gas prices are low. Good news for the Democrats.

I didn't watch the debates, but it looks like Rubio gave the Donald a pretty good pounding. Too little too late?

jgill, your justification for a Trump presidency is disturbing. Do you agree with the things he is saying?
You're obviously too smart to buy Trump's "I'll give you the details later, but trust me, it's going to be a terrific plan".
The truth is that we have a do-nothing congress filled with rightwing ideologues and obstructionist who have pledged to not cooperate with the current president. I'll let you draw your own conclusions as to why - and why these same people (and their constituents) love what Trump is selling.
Getting something done....yikes, unless that something is a great big wall on our southern border with trains containing 11 million people being deported. Maybe you want the middle-east carpet bombed. Maybe you don't believe that global warming is happening. Maybe you're ok with torture.
Hillary can work with a congress that is changed after the extremists in control of the GOP are sent to a crushing defeat.
She's a politician, after all, and a darn smart one.

If Trump becomes president, I believe we will see bigotry unleashed. Until now, racists had fear of being shunned for vocalizing their secret pleasure of feeling their skin color makes them superior. Hell, they even saw people getting arrested for acts of hate, like the asshat in my home town who threw a brick wrapped in hate speech through the window of his black neighbor's house. They kept it to themselves except when they were in what they considered safe company. Now it's becoming open season of brown skinned people.
God help us, if Trump wins.

"I said Phil, 'I don't want your money' – I don't wanna do it, I'm self funding. Everytime I see him, it's hard for me to turn down money cos that's not what I've done my whole life. I grab and grab and grab, you know I get greedy! I want money, money!
"I'll tell you what we're gonna do, right – we get greedy, right? Now we're gonna get greedy for the United States. We're gonna grab and grab and grab! We're gonna bring in so much money and so much everything, we're gonna make America great again folks, I'm telling you, we're gonna make America great again."

David Duke: Voting against Trump is 'treason to your heritage'
The white nationalist and former KKK grand wizard encouraged his listeners to volunteer for Trump.
By ELIZA COLLINS 02/25/16 11:59 AM EST
David Duke, a white nationalist and former Klu Klux Klan grand wizard, told his audience Wednesday that voting for anyone besides Donald Trump “is really treason to your heritage.”
“Voting for these people, voting against Donald Trump at this point, is really treason to your heritage,” Duke said on the David Duke Radio Program.
"I’m not saying I endorse everything about Trump. In fact, I haven’t formally endorsed him. But I do support his candidacy, and I support voting for him as a strategic action. I hope he does everything we hope he will do.”
“And I am telling you that it is your job now to get active. Get off your duff. Get off your rear end that’s getting fatter and fatter for many of you everyday on your chairs. When this show’s over, go out, call the Republican Party, but call Donald Trump’s headquarters, volunteer,” he said. “They’re screaming for volunteers. Go in there, you’re gonna meet people who are going to have the same kind of mind-set that you have.”
“He’s made it OK to talk about these incredible concerns of European Americans today, because I think European Americans know they are the only group that can’t defend their own essential interests and their point of view,” Duke said. “He’s meant a lot for the human rights of European Americans.”

Perhaps. But The Donald isn't the problem, he is a symptom. While it does seem likely, that the next President will be a Democrat - due to the upended chaos in the Republican ranks - the fact is, on a daily basis, President Clinton will be confronted with a large disgruntled minority, that believes Washington needs toxic therapy.
There is no scenario now, by which this ends well.

John, you're right. I have low expectations for the next four or eight years. A vote for Clinton is a vote for gridlock, for sure, which I think is the best case scenario. Both parties, particularly republicans, of course, will have to figure out what the hell happened.
