Yes, well what can we say? From the website Klimmer mentions:

My father worked for Boeing on the Saturn second stage in Huntsville, AL at the Marshall Space Flight Center. They tested rocket motors all the time and they shook our house. I witnessed two Saturn Five launches at the Cape. Frankly, it's not really possible to launch those things "covertly". "As covertly as possible" might be like shining spotlights on them as sirens warn everyone within 60 miles that a launch is going to take place and then broadcasting the whole thing on TV.
Come on Klimmer, you can do better........

Yes, a lot of Pink Floyd jokes on all news article comments regarding this latest NASA story. Lol
Why did NASA wait to reveal that this had happened so many years after the actual event? Why did they classify it back then? We should have known about this event decades ago.
I would watch the links above on Youtube, and an Apollo astronaut really explains what it clearly is not. It's not radio interference and he explains why. Radio interference would have done this sort of thing constantly. NASA designed and guarded against that. This phenomenon only happened on the backside of the Moon for Apollo 10. It also happened during the entire time they were on the backside out of radio contact with Houston. It was recorded. They talked about it and made comments about it while it was happening for about an hour or so while they were back there. They also talked about not saying anything so they wouldn't jeopardize their participation in future missions. You come back talking aliens and ET and you're not flying again. Why only on the backside of the Moon? Very very weird for sure.
I think NASA should release to the public, the entire recording of the backside of the Moon for Apollo 10. Let us listen to the entire recorded backside sounds and the Apollo 10 discussions. That would be an incredibly interesting listen. Let us hear the whole thing.
There is definitely some weirdness on the backside of the Moon out of sight of Earth.

A NASA technician on the TV show explains that the "radios in the two spacecraft [the lunar module and the command module] were interfering with each other."

And the NASA Apollo astronaut on another mission contradicts the radio interference hypothesis. Like I said watch the youtube videos from the Discovery channel that go into detail on this.
Sorry you can't keep saying "Swamp gas" as your pat answer. You can't keep saying "radio interference" as your pat answer. NASA designed against radio interference. If it was radio interference then they would be hearing it all the time on many different Apollo missions. They don't. Listen to Al Worden from Apollo 15 explain that.
This is something completely unique.
By the way the sound is a changing (modulated) wooooooooo sound. That's why they called it "outer-space music." And it went on for a long time, and only on the backside of the Moon. Very eery.
