Twelve thirty in front of the Lodge and then the OPENING CH. in V.I.

My next few minutes are going to be devoted to a short shower and then I'm posting pics from the lift.

On the way from the Western Salt Works to Pepper Park, you will pass by Gunpowder Point, former home of the the Hercules Company, whose product was produced from kelp. Like those visions of Johanna, all that remains.

Dude, I used to spend hours of time up fishing around Hercules in Contra Costa Co. at or near the old Hercules works, but never getting a solid strike on a striper.

"there continues to be no night operations. Day operations will continue to patrol the fire perimeter, mop up any heat that may pose a threat to containment lines and implement the suppression repair plan."

the Rev stopped by yesterday afternoon and we went cruising, talking and trying to lift spirits.
For the time we are together with our friends is the best time we should feel entitled to.
The time with parents is precious, but the time with parents who are friends is most precious, second only to that spent with a life partner, God-willing.
