As we were snorkeling last month, everybody'd get excited whenever a shark came by. "There's a bigger one over here!" Those weren't the man-eating kind, though. Lotsa rays and 'cuda but the charismatic-megafauna highlight of that trip for me was swimming amid a small flight of squid who flashed neon color-changes in unison as they passed. Wonder how they do that, and what they were saying.

chiloe, we all know that's a Tardis

Doctor Who wasn't home, but we looked.

Fletcher, the pumpkin boy is great. Mal's desert nights reminded me how those feel. Snakefoot, mooser, nice water imagery.

One more below, another of my fishing towns.

Dang Chiloe! That is nice! Just that band of red with the ultramarine blue...you don't have a coffee table book of fishing villages published yet, do you?

Cool Hawk John.

Guess I'll join the fun with some odd photos.

Here's a drunk up in Dunsmuir. Found him in a bus stop just like this:

And some cool optical effects, au natural

In the Valley

Sun setting behind Keeler

and some weird light on a pond in the Meadows. Sunlight refracting through the pollen or something.

Hi John,
Yeah, please stop by it will be fun to meet you. I'll be here 10am-5pm or so. You can't miss me. There's a big sign that says "DODRILL GALLERY" on the building right next to the little coffee shop. We're in old Bodega. (Directions are on my site: http://www.jerrydodrill.com); I think the Fishermans Festival is happening that weekend over in Bodega Bay, just a couple miles away. There's some good climbing nearby, and some crappy climbing if you prefer.

Cheers!

This was Saturday in East Texas near Nacogdoches. Pretty odd occurrence for Texas, especially in April.
