Pewf, bummer! I hope the chocolate was therapeutic.

Sewelly...I think your calves look svelte!

I was within one pound, but a college trip with the son and an ill-advised/thouroghly enjoyable lasagna dinner withh friends has me 5 away now. Time for two-a-days!

Sorry Pewf :( Meh. Hate when the little guys have to go.

130.1 on the scale this morning- looks like I hit my 6 lb goal.

I've got .7 to go. we'll probably go snowboarding tomorrow and that'll certainly burn some calories. Salads for meals. or veggie soup.

Minus the beer the one thing I've been good about is eliminating empty carbs like tortillas, etc. More green stuff as well. And no late night munchies.

Seems like everyone gained something out of this challenge so far! Very cool.

180.2...

Thanks all, for decades I've started the year by losing weight, only to regain later in the spring. This DC thing definitely re-focused...

Congrats everyone who has made it already! Away from my scale for the weekend, was 117.4, still just 7 down. Hoping for a nice surprise when I get home, but not too optimistic. I'm psyched though... I have my first actually visible 6-pack (okay, as long as I flex my gut in just the right light)

Last day! I'm still at 11.5 lb overall, so I guess barring any massive pigouts today, I'll likely still be there tomorrow. Goal is to continue this for another 15-20.

Last August at a family reunion, (when I weight about what I do now, after the loss the last month), I was talking to my uncle the iron man... and he remarked - you put it on easily; you can take it off just as easily. He was right.

116.6 this morning, probably not going to lose my last 2.2 without cutting off a foot or something.

So is that $22 into the pot?

I'm still super stoked, though the $22 is the least of my expenses after this (need smaller clothing and climbing harness). Planning on finishing out the 10 pounds if possible, though maybe I'll give myself a relaxed timeline. The challenge came at a good time for me because I'm stuck with daily cardio anyway due to some weird nerve pain/muscular cramps that tie me in knots if I don't exercise. Pulling something like 8% less up routes is a nice consolation for having to deal with that.

Thanks all!

So, I am shy by two pounds. Do we send the money to Chris Mac for his current ASCA fundraising efforts? Seems like a good place to put it all. Where is the pool? Or pot? Do we send $ to you to share it out to the winners? Not sure how this works at this point.

Nature, thanks for the motivation and for keeping us all on track. I am sticking with the Paleo eating plan. Love the energy and the good feeling and gaining of muscle mass. My free weight sets are getting longer and heavier. I am almost down to my best running weight again.

So, thank you, but, um . . .

Where do I sent the $20.00?

Good job all! It's definitely good to spread the loss over 4 weeks. Weighing out today as the rest of the week will be super busy for me. We are heading to IC for a solid 6 days in the Creek come Friday am. Stoked!! Got my 10 too. Started at 188.0.

Weighout at 165.4, a good place to be for me. Not a 10-lb loss though, so I owe $34 to the kitty.
