I don't know you but I'm a snowboarder and have snowboarded up there and we're fellow posters (or imposters). I'm kinda late to the party and don't want to crash it! but get better - looks like you've got lots of friends for good cheers!

Too bad they moved you. I was going to suggest you head down to the maternity ward and have a good daily hot soak in their water-birthing tubs. Hopefully they'll have something similar at GFS.
Here's a couple of pics from today to feed your fire. Wallowing in the mud until my hands were cramping and feet were freezing. It's right beside Triage Arete above the Bluffs parking lot. Maybe the name should compliment the medical context of it's neighbor? How about Rehabilitation Route?

Some connection between what Scrubber did today and St. Vitus'.
Can't remember what it is but maybe Scrubber could work at night and RyanD and Luke climb in the day?

We haven't heard from the Live TR inside of a Live TR team at all in 40 minutes. They are probably close to death. There are rumors one or more of the climbers may have dropped their hand jammies. Aislinn, start up the Apron trail and start the rescue now.

I think Hamish did post that story, Tami, along with several other stories that make a person wonder how he survived to eventually start a whole new string of mountain bike injuries.

Yesterday I woke up at 5:30 to my screaming, biting, delusional neighbour trying to tell her nurses that they were hurting her while cleaning up the results of the night. I feel really sorry for her because she looks horrible like she had a fight with about ten sets of stairs, and I wouldn't want to be woke every two hours for tests and pills etc..
The wake up call is a little earlier than I would like. I have a feeling here it will be a bit mellower.
Then I went to the fridge to get the two cheese blocks my parents had given me when they visited the other night. Unfortunately they had disappeared. I wasn't very happy about this revelation.. First my slippers then my cheese.
I had several staff members who were kind enough to root through the contents, but they had simply disappeared. Needless to say I was somewhat disappointed, but karma will get those thieves
Just before lunch, Sandra and Relic stopped by and I was stoked to see them! After eating my lovely turkey wrap that my beautiful girlfriend picked up for me, Tash and Anders also made an appearance, and we headed out to the park.
Sandra and I.

We found a nice passerby to take a group shot for us, her son joined the group photo
Anders was up to his old tricks chasing pussy again....

So yes, we survived Mike. We did a st vitus simul in your honor tonight & spray painted your name on memorial ledge. I hope this will help with your rehab. We had aspirations of a summit bid & rollering your handle across the ravens nest slabs, but fear of samsquantch in the forest above memorial crack had us scared & running for the death line which we rapped for the too manieth time before belaying each other while crying down the slabs to Luke's for a nice beer. Hope u have a good day today!

Big Mike, dude. just checked into ST and saw this thread. Holy smokes. As many others have said, but can't be said enough, you're spirit is super inspiring. And, wonderful to see all the support you are getting from afar and near. Will be checking back in to see updates. you rock.

String of mountain bike injuries? Last year I squeezed in well over 400 hours of that great sport and only cracked a couple of ribs.
Hardly a string... In my mind anyway.
More importantly, glad to hear you're improving mike and I will make it down for a visit as soon as my full body anti hospital germ suit is back from the cleaners.

Mike, great that you survived the transfer to the new place. Will send some little token via snail mail to help the healing vibe. Rest up, kid.
