Thinking for this year's menu all different kinds of crockpot food such as Mexican chile verde with pork; Beef Stew; Minestrone with meat balls; Fresh vegetable Soup; a fish stew either Italian or from Spain; Chicken something..... any ideas and receipes or someone who wants to bring something to go along with these such as fresh basil and tomato's on french bread, some great mexican chips......You get the idea.

I would love for Mal Daly to make an appearance with his incredible Louisiana shrimp and sausage stew.

We will need sturdy paper plates, large plastic spoons, napkins, and sturdy throw away bowls etc, tables, people to help serve.

Last year we collected $1200.00 from the food/dinner contributions for the Flanderfest. People that ate tipped the contribution jar MOST GENEROUSLY.

after reviewing the recent images of todd's roof it appears that the shingles and paper are intact. The roof is leaking because of those sections of shingles that got blown off. Reweave those sections of shingles and crown staple all shingles down and you got about a one day repair for your crew. Then there will be a lot more cash available for the Gorden family.

and hey maybe they could share some of it with Clark Jacobs.

EVERYONE IS INVITED! Including Stonemasters, Uplanders, wanna-bes, Sheep Buggerers, those mysterious folk from San Diego, RADs, BGR, Banditos, Valley boys, Euros, Asians, Latinos, American Alpine Clubbers, Mazamas, Vulgarians, Buff Alpine clubbers, Sierra Clubbers, boulderers and even Canadians and Newfoundlanders, not to mention people from Florida. This means you!

Hey Man you left off Eldo Prancers.
Is that discrimination?
Could be an ACLU case soon.

And what about Black Canyon Dirt Bags?
Or Red Rock retrotards?
Will they need special visas?

Hey StahlBro, nice pic. What town has that ass for a mayor?
I could always relocate but will I have to change party affiliation?

Uh.... my guess is the picture was posted photobucket or some such site and it automatically gives credit to the account holder.

It's a group picture, so what if a few there did or didn't help out.

It's the spirit in which it was intended that's important.

CHECK THIS STUFF OUT! Willing to take a "batch" bid for the whole lot or any combo you could dream of. I do already have a $75 bid for the Tom Burke plaque.

Here is some cool stuff I have left to auction/sell.

This first pic is some classic meat and potatos climbing rack material sent by Locker. It's all stuff you can use. The Friends (a #1.5 and a #2) are in good shape and have smooth action as do the wire gate Wild Country biners. The studs are 1/4" x 1.25" button heads, oh yes, and those are the fattest dang aluminum rap rings I've ever seen in my life. There are 4 quick draws, a single length runner and a double length runner.

Oh yeah, the seat!!!
This is the cleanest big wall seat I have ever seen. Plywood? You have got to be kidding me. This is fiberglass and, oh, is it clean. It is fully decked out in climbing oriented decals, but, feel free to remove them and personalize them to your (big wall god) hearts content. A little foam and you are set.

Here is a shot of the Tom Burke commemorative plaque. This is the last known in a series commisioned by Glen Lake to celebrate Tom and his joy de vivre. Tom was one of the original "Stahl Brothers" who climbed all over the world with style, determination and panache.

I must briefly mention Tom's ascent of the Matterhorn with his good friend Reagan. As they were heading up early in the ascent they encountered multiple guide led parties retreating from the mountain. As each party passed them each and every professional European mountain guide told them bad weather was imminent, to continue was unjustified, and that they too MUST go down. To these bold climbers from Cali the weather didn't look so bad and they continued their ascent. A few clouds on the horizon? PSHAW! The guides warnings became more and more adamant. They continued, the lone party on the peak. The weather got a little sketch but they eventually reached the summit which they thoroughly enjoyed by themselves and descended safely. I won't mention the slander the guides received (those whiners).

The classic Access Fund bottle opener.

A Petzl chest ascender.

Lost Arrow Pitons! Aren't these babys about $20 bucks each now???
