What do you think this fish tab will run? An open estimate is good.

I will help with dishes and clean up Sunday fo' sure.
Thinking of this logistically and trying to raise $ and not waste sushi I think we need to get a head count of who wants to pony up $30 bucks.
If we can get a general idea then the rule is that a minimum of 10-13 % won't show. It's true. I have put on many weddings and events. So we should be able to narrow down how much fish, meat etc. needed.
What about paper plates, utensils etc. I have some time and I can help yo all. Peace, Lynne
Edit: What kind of mega salads did you have in mind Nature. Sure we can assign some people to help with those.

I think last year if memory serves me correctly it was right around $500. I think we'll have more people at this event so maybe $700?
As far as the rice goes it doesn't matter as to the brand.
Any Organic California short grained (sushi) white rice will do. Gotta be organic....
yeah... back to gear and trying to get Jim a little more flush....
Lynne - yup, I agree on the head count. Though I'm not expecting everyone to cough up $30. If someone just wants a hand roll and coughs up $5 - that sorta thing - that also works. $30 is the all you can eat number. Salads - just standard green salads to go along with grilled whatever and potatos. These are just thoughts. As Donini pointed out this is all about what we're doing for Jim. But drunk people with no food in them isn't the best idea.
Double Edit: I have some plastic soy trays and sushi trays I think I'll bring. I don't have enough trays for the list that Todd posted.

If you need a pop up tent let me know.
I'll talk to Todd and see if we can kinda quantify headcount on 1) all yo can eat people $30 and 2) 5$ hand roll people
Nature, can we cook that many potatoes?....maybe good breads would also be an option along with the salads.
Lets encourage (wicked twist of arm behind back :D) our friends to bring munchies.....jah ?!

Here is a teeny tiny microscopic bit of what Jim will have for sale;....probably about 1/10 of the stuff at the Bridwellfest;....but maybe this will help get a visual.....plus all the donated stuff, plus any stuff coming in.....if you are a gear head, gear freak, climbing historian, collector,....or just your common everyday plastic pulling Starbuck's drinkin' gym-flaggin' sporto.....there will be something for everyone and anyone......and all priced to move, and all prices up for barter with The Man himself;....Mr. Bridwell, sir....
Many of the pins are signed and for collectables;...many are not and are for banging on aid climbs, mud towers, or chipping holes and holds for 5.13 free climbers....all are real pitons which Jim banged in rock all over the planet...
Jim has a million stoppers....all are for sale, and most will be stamped J B..........use them at the crags, collect them, trade them, or just let them hang about in your garage with all your other stoppers because you don't climb anymore, or just sport climb or climb only at the gym....these are Jim' personal stoppers off his personal rack;....all will bring you good luck and magical placements at the crags...

Here are some of Jim's quick draws....he don't need them anymore;...but you Prana-wearing skinny indoor-city-types might want to pick up a few extra draws for those long clip ups at New Jack.......
