That's eerie.
No, that's Del Paso Creek where the obvious tree line runs behind our back fence.
"Subdivide and conquer."--Fifties fallacy, but Watt's a Boomer to do?
Move a third of a mile from Watt Avenue, thus ensuring the car pool's integrity. One third of a mile in two minutes on my bike going to school each morning. BELIEVE IT! I was practicing for a bicycling merit badge. Traffic safety crossing guard. Altar boy. Fishing over on the American. Runs to the Castaic Mkt., or Stop 'n' Shop. Bermingham kids had to be Mobile.
I think we just did that one.
And Travelin' Man, On the Road Again by the Canneda Heht, and maybe I ought to forget it...
Let's go fishing instead.

Sometimes it's a burden being young.
Later on, it's a Burdon being young.
I find Young to be no burden.
Neither man can be replaced.
I don't remember everything.
But the sun sets out west for every one of us.
Catch and release me, Lord.
And keep your big hands damp, please.

Water. The source of wine, probably the source of the Yellow Knight's courage at the bridge.

I'm Having All the Excitement I Can Stand
I punched in at nine,
weigh 179
and have led 5.9
many a time,
and still like to climb,
but that’s not often.
I’m here early today.
And it’s Saturday.
I should be gone away
to yosemitay
were I not wriing,
But instead
I’m sitting bad-rhyming,
jerking off about climbing,
and typing the day away.
Without pay
But then
If I were out climbing
I might be wishing
I were fishing,
my wet feet squishing,
with a great-big large trout
in my creel.
I’d feel
very much better
if my feet were a bit wetter
not penning this letter
but that might could be
way far too real.
If I
were that diving duck
I wouldn’t give a f*#k
I wouldn’t spend a buck
trying to be someone
I’m not.
But if
I couldn’t climb
And had just to sit here and rhyme
I would surely find time
to think about forty-nine
different ways to die.
And then
I would pick
the one likeliest to click
take hold of my stick
and kiss my old ass
goodbye.

The Bishopric Tales
There once was a bishop named Urban
What he did to his flock was disturbin’
He buggered the boys
But they made too much noise
He traded his miter for a turban.

Brody (Urban Dictionary):
Verb*
To cause a vehicle to drift in circles by causing the tires to break loose(lose traction), works extremely well on a snow covered empty parking lot. Can be accomplished with a rear wheel drive car going forward or a front wheel drive car in reverse. Old Skool term.
* Re 'verb.'
Imagine,if you can and are old enough, a set of re-verb speakers behind the back seats on the window ledge and a real reel-to-reel tape deck mounted on the dash, slow-cruising down the road to the Cookie from Foresta in a blue and white 1957 Chevy Sport Coupe, the windows rolled down, and listening to Jan and Dean or Dick Dale, and, knowing absolutely nothing about climbing other than rapping, you cruise blithely by the Vendetta and the Cleft and the Enigma and go swimming at the Cascades instead: it could be worse.

Not the Real McCoy
Mariposa’s not West Virginny, O!
Although it really seems to want to be,
Unfortunately-y-y...
It lacks the right orogeny
It still has a ways to go-o-o!
A Visit to Hatfield S.R.A.
On the banks of the old Merced
Way downstream from there
The wheat men were heard to have said,
"Get these miner out of our hair."
Farming and mining
Like singing and miming
Don't go together
"Frack that sh#t and spread it on the crops."
--Mary Poser, in her cups one night at the Magnolia Saloon, opining on the history between the counties of Merced & Mariposa
In the words of Mr. Natural, "It don't mean sh#t."
In the long run, nobody will be here to remember.
Only the hills; and their memories are short, but compared to what is that into which I'd best not go.
Like Fresno.

After watching Eric above, I'm wondering if he should maybe pick up the Wild Animals for his backup like Dick Dale used to do.
Might give him an energy boost, though maybe he prefers Ensure.
In any event, he sang about being young when he was, so keeping like things grouped with likes, shouldn't he be singing about that Old Man River?
You don't find Aretha still demanding Respect now do you?

Word for the day could be vituperation, or in Mexican, vituperio, or in Canadian, bitterness and abusiveness in expressing oneself.
I'm just bummed not to be out in the hills, still. We had such a good time and BOTH of us appreciated the break, especially because we were armed!
But hardly dangerous. C'mon, you know me...

We shot at no Byrds, either.
And it's not legal to shoot within 500' of utility poles, according to Geo LaF. Cuz bad sh#t happens when we do.

Why? Is she missing?
If so, did she have any metalon her person, like an ax?
mfm
Have you ever considered teaming up with Mary Tyler Moore to become
mfmmtm? (I believe Dick VD is still missing, so he's not gonna mind).
As we used to say down in Lucky Towne - LSMFT.
Has anyone seen Diana, Coleen, Cindy or Jo-Ann?
Why didn't anyone see firing away from the perch he worked diligently to get up to? Illegal maybe?
Can a photonic relationship with ants and mosquitos be lasting.
Probably, until death do us a part.

"It was always Dennis who was the manliest among us."--from the interview
"Who is Millis?"--Steve Grossman
And the real reason we were on the road yesterday, Old Man Merced. My curiosity has been satisfied about the drought conditions. Well, you can see for yourselves how low Lake McClure has become.
There is more than one reason behind the massive demonstration of demolition being displayed by the damned Rim Fire, but this is a primary one: lack of moisture in the area in general.

I did the shimmy shimmy
Then I did the twist
Now I do the swim
And you spell it like this
S-W-I-M
Come on, baby, take a chance
Losers drown and winners dance
We're doing the S-W-I-M, whoa
