Apparently, conservatives are blissful that they have demonstrated a politician who has told lies to the public.
It is not clear that they have demonstrated that ALL politicians lie ALL of the time....although that seems to be the Tea Party position.

It irks me that anti abortion forces stole that term, implying that anyone who supports abortion rights is pro-death. I simply call them "anti abortion."

The difference being that the argument against abortion legality is ultimately founded on religious philosophy. If you understand that a fetus isn't a baby until it has been born, then the process is just the removal of undesired tissue, much like having a cyst removed. No one dies.
Whereas the result of an abundance of guns without checks on what type of personality is seeking weapons designed to kill humans as efficiently and massively as possible results in thousands of deaths every year.
