I agree with a lot of that but the genie has been out of the bottle for quite awhile.
So now what?

It is possible, of course, to suppress pornography on a child''s computer...most parents don't expend the effort.
The government has been quite successful in squashing child pornography but the critical juncture, decades ago, was convincing the public how toxic and dangerous child porn was. The debilitating material that's on the web now, won't be reigned in as long as the myth that hard core pornography is harmless, or even beneficial, continues on in the perceptions of a significant population.
Forntunately, many state school boards are advancing a no tolerance policy regarding pornography in the schools and employees who assist and abet in its promotion...
