The idiocy in your Senator's letter is appalling. How someone so stupid could be a state Senator is truly disturbing.
Constitutional scholars will argue that the Constitution gives no such authority that would allow a federal agency the right to deprive Nevada's ability to control her own public lands It is Federal public land. It HAS been argued many many times all the way to the Supreme Court several times. It is settled law.
Only legal ignoramuses like Bundy would argue otherwise. I'm sure there are lots of Republican politicians in Nevada who are smarter than this ass.
I suggest he resign and represent Bundy in court. Then he could be a real hero.
Utah's Governor has plenty of beef (ha ha) with Federal land management. He makes NO claim that it's not Federal land. I haven't heard law 'n order Orrin Hatch or Mike Lee (Utah senators) standing up for Bundy who after all is just over the border. Where's Jan Brewer of Arizona? She's about as whacko as any US Governor. Mum's the word.

Hey survival, i happen to know there were Viet Nam era vets there at Bunkerville. You gonna bag on them now..Oh,, and they were vets, that fought in the shyt as it were.
Yeah Ron, I'll bag on them. There are a lot of vets that are as bat sh#t crazy as anyone else, sometimes more.
So, do I take offense to vets needlessly taking up arms against their own government? Yes .

Ron, as a show of good form, I will offer an apology for making a comment about you being "up on the wall" at Bundyville. I simply found it funny that those militia guys were cracking already, and you have been their main defender.
I did not directly call you any name at all.
Here's what I found funny:
*The Oath Keepers bailed from the ranch because of a suspected drone strike, as though that isn't a massive stretch of imagination.
*The remaining militia guys called them traitors and said such things as "They're lucky they didn't get shot it the back."
*The Oath Keepers put a 50 minute manifesto on their site to explain their side.
*Illegal grazer Bundy has become a prophet hearing directly from God that he and his followers are supposed to disarm the BLM and Park Service.
*Bundy made demands of the government to be followed in "one hour".
Wearing a cowboy hat and being an old boy from NV does not make you more American or more right than anyone else.
Being a Vietnam era vet does not give you more rights to point guns at federal employees.

Sorry folks, most all of our crazy, racist, paramilitary crackers still receive their govenment checks every month.
Also--------I do think some of usuns posting on the gubmint side of this too-long spew-fest, like guns too. It's part of my Idaho upbringing.
