^Like most all threads on the SuperTopo forum, it's*** good though.

wasting bandwidth

Warrants at least a definition and explanation of how the calculations were performed and the mathematical derivation!

Isn't it just like the composting done on many of the favs of some folks we know?

That Jess Sayin really gets around, huh?

He must have beaucoup precious bandwidth.

Is he a band baron?

A lumber familiy scion?

An independently wealthy bon vivant like myself and zBrown and the rest of the Flames?

Does he have a doggie treat?

You've hurt my feelings, eKat. But don't apologize for speaking your mind: it's a small enough thing that I'll be better by morning.

Meanwhile, back with the crazy Russian kids...

And the crazy Russian boobs driving their cars on iced-up roads...

Cyrillistic sh#t, there. Unlike here.

eKat, let me apologize for that cheap-ass shot. I so don't want to ruckus with you.

I think we got off to a bad start long ago last year. That's always been hard to chew, and so I think it's time to dump that old bone. Remember the bonehead PMs, both about the same thing? cheese...stupid...

Remember, us boys are made of these, among other things, and you of all the gals in Taco Town have spent enough time in Camp 4 to have some insight into boys' behavior, good and bad. So you likely know drivel to the max. And bad puns. And sh#t jokes. And now easy internet jibes and tunes come along and we're like...oh, more fun!

I apologize for letting the dangtail wag the dangdog. It's Jess Moi.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?

The purity of drivel is not strained.
It falleth on the rich and it falleth on the poor.
And when it hath poured and rained,
It creepeth 'neath the door,
Ruining the expensive Persian you brought home from that wonderful trip to Istanbul and doing thousands in damage to the parquet.
All due to poor choices in writing subjects?
I think so, I mean not.

I was just gonna drivel this on ya.

With Bird and Schmitz on the Taco Trolley, can certain others be far behind?

This feller ring any of yer bells?

http://www.worldaffairs.org/speakers/profile/richard-christiani.html

The very last time I saw Rick he was schlepping a massive backpack from Boulder Camp to Booguba Lodge in August of 1970.
http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.php?topic_id=1809743&msg=1809743#msg1809743

The main thing I remember about him is his huge stash of equipment stored in plastic milk crates under waterfroop cloth in his site in Camp 4.

the Rev and I looked at this pile of pins and biners and slings and rope and positively driveled over it when we had first seen it in Camp 4 earlier that year. He appeared to have used the schtuff, too. A lot!

A feel-good climbing experience is often just the simple act itself, no strings.

Just yourself and some rocks on the shore somewhere.

Lovers' Point, Pacific Grove, provided me this type of excitement at age twenty-one.[Click to View YouTube Video]

Hay, Teach and neebee...sounds like a law firm.

Here's some restful stuff for a lazy Monday morning when we rise.

Before most of us rise, that is.

The un-focused effect is effective here, and totally random as I was literally shooting in the dark, unable to use the auto focus.

Inane:
1 : empty , insubstantial 2 : lacking significance, meaning, or point : silly
synonyms see insipid

We covered this topoc earlier, in a vastly different thread, one which went straight to the point, I thought.

We do wander a bit here, granted.

But wandering is no the same as drivelling. Hardly.

Maybe we can use this fellow to indicate someone's lost or simply not following, to be more percise.
It seems like OT Marmot has left the scene, so let's give this vintage hand puppet a big hand. He's the last hand puppet we should ever need on the Taco.

VaguestClimber, where's OT AT now, and is he good, or what?

You didn't take him and dump him on the top of Africa's Summit, I hope?

hey there say, mouse... i remember all main trails do have rabbit trails...
neat things can be found, and learned, while on rabbit trails...

getting back to the main trail, before dark, etc, is always good, and then, onward we go, until next few rabbit trails...

:)

not to worry... there is treasures here, abouts...

some stuff may be rabbit trails that i pass-over, as my brain
takes the overpass to the next post on this ol' thread, but, say:
i DO find treasures that way, for sure...

i sure love the merced history stuff, too, by the way, which is
the way by which you traveled quite often in live... :)

If the Romans had hung Jesus, would Christians wear little nooses around their necks?

Ya nailed it, bub!

To use His very own words, (and how clever is it to blashpheme in public, really?),"Thou hath said it, prefectly." *

No resurrection insurrections around this province while I am in charge, ya hear?--Pilate after words with Jesus

* Only the words of Jesus and names of posters should righteously appear in boldface, but exceptions seem to rule here, so...do yer thing...it is of little moment, after all, because it's a little tiny world, after all.

But a nice one, all the same.

edit: While rabbit trails are just side-trips for mice, who are looking for ANYTHING interesting, they do yield treasures on occasion. It's why I bother taking them. My main trial on the trails about MY HOME is that I'm so often alone and as long as I keep a little light on in the back of my muscular brain, shaped like Jesus, knowing it's there is all I need to go places where the Yokuts is afraid and the white man's never been.

This guy?

Seriously, this threat is aboud just any old thing under the sun.

But indoor climbing, no; though there may be one or two references by otherwise well-meaning persons, including mice persons like myself.

I drink enough boxed zin lately that it could be a wine commercial in da skies. I could get plenty of endorsements on any old climbing website, but the Taco is especially fertile ground.
Atop the Muir, who would drink water if champagne is more apropos? Surely not I. Mr. Robbins seems to be drinking out of a plastic cup. He's finally graduated to the world of BIG-BIG WALLS. BIG WALLS are sissy stuff now. Some prefer port wine to champagne. I'm malleable. I can go with port in a pinch if it's got the right pitch man.
Then again, there is lots of material on locals here from Merced. No murals, like in La Jolla, that really stand out, but there are some geniuses working the streets as artists.
And there are non-geniuses who have just plain good heads on their shoulders. Like Skip, shown here at an unguarded moment; but candidly, even Skip sometimes has wrong-headed notions. But he bought me a coffee the other day, so it's all fine and dandy.

I'm not a fan of games in everyday life, except for Risk and of course, Scrabble. They have limited appeal, however. No one likes getting their asses handed to them in a game. I'm very lucky, usually, at Risk and pink is my color, nine is my number. Nine armies in India, nine in Norhtern Europe. I'm attacking Kamchatka from Alaska with three dies.
It kills me that more people don't care for risk in their daily lives. These are called dull boys and homebodies. I see few around the Taco.
"I'm playing 'BOONDOCKS' for 97 points."

Or it could be about HARD HARD MEN and EVEN HARDER CLIMBS. But I forgot to pay my free climbing dues and need new soles on the Fires. So that will have to wait.

Or eKat could be correct.

Inanity reigns in the most unlikely places.

Flames appear there, too, so here's a little can of Nine Lives cooked on the open grill, or the musical equivalent.

Not that it's pure tat. There's some good stuff, too. But beware, cats are deceitful and love to play with their food.[Click to View YouTube Video]

Groucho's hundred-dollar word for today is "Irrepressible."

It's magic. Use it next time you try to impress the opposite sex. Say "I'm irrepressible when it comes to so & so." You'll be surprised what can happen next...

Rabbits come out of a hat and do tricks for you. Now that's impressive and just try to repress a rabbit.

"You feelin' lucky, punk? Go ahead, make my day." This phrase caused a male rabbit to laugh so hard he never stopped and never sired another kit, or whatever a baby rabbit's called. A Ripley Tale, believe me now...
