I've asked for that gd80-08-16 show, but so far nobody is sending it.
May require some engineering or monkeying around.
Bill Graham cameo about :55. I actually saw him give some guy a ticket once after giving him a lecture. He liked to lecture. Lectured Jimi Hendrix on how to do a good show. Ha!

Remember when Jenny opened for the Dead in 1980? Me neither, but still a strong performance for a youngster.

Update:
I have the gd08-08-17 show now. No luck with the 16th. Usually folks respond right away if they going to, but I'll check again later.

GIFS?? or is it "gif"s or ".gif"
anyway you spell it - I want add some from a mac to the cat thread or else where,
(Get Well Meeseze To Flames)
there are some great Cat & mouse Loop (?) " .gif"s too. .gifs won't work as uploads.
You have to post the location of the .gif file inside the [img] and [ /img].
for example:
So here is the location
http://rs214.pbsrc.com/albums/cc61/pRIMrose2/Graphics/Sisyphus.gif~c200
if I put this inside the img delimiters
I get this

Thanks I get on that. .
and I'm gonna try to forget what's bothering me but
is it disrespectful to call the flagrant fan worship of a bad person just what it is ?
I'll get some music to clear this bad cloud but I buried a rant that touches deep shjt and it is a healing post so it will stay where I put it and then when I've forgotten that I did include too much,
And it will smack me
not able to take it out or erase edit or change it I'll be sorry

This first to set it up . . .
please, I know we all just blow it off - ya I know it is not
Considered great
but every song on this album rings true tonight

but then then about the climb and not the song - Hair styles & attitudes

Under construction
He will be back in your absence this caught me in the throat if you've been up the whole Basstile
in Eldo this morning (10/25/15) and witnessed a climber free-soloing Madame Guillotine on the N Face of the Bastille, there were two people n fixed ropes filming the whole climb, it was an incredible feat to witness.
Anyone know who the climber was?
It was Hair Styles and Attitudes. The monkey was Brad G. and Cedar was filming.
Hair styles and attitudes 5.12 b/c or D?
Sheesha! Woot times two that's some thing even if it is wired
Center stage and all that !
This sensational pitch, formerly called Space Invaders II, parallels the last pitch of Outer Space, about 25 feet to the left. The simplest and fastest approach is to get to the top of the third pitch of the Bastille Crack, belay, and then launch out right along the stratum (~20') to a short, left-facing dihedral. A line of ring bolts straight up the steep wall above marks the route. There are two hard sections separated by a good rest with a knee-lock. The lower section (.11b/c) just gets you warmed up for the upper crux. You'll execute a series of intricate moves in a short distance in order to set up for the balancy crux moves. Look for a hidden pocket/dish and then make a couple of big moves to finish it off onto a flat ledge. From here the route joins the original Space Invaders at .11a, past 3 more bolts (plus small gear) to the top. Concerning the rating, the Eldo guide calls the route .12c/d but nowhere is it any harder than .12b. The crux is kind of involved but the moves are not hard 5.12. Using Genesis (.12c) as a yardstick, H&A should be rated quite a bit easier. Perhaps the stiff rating is more a result of the amazing exposure rather than the actual moves. One of the things that make this route so fun is that it is very well protected. Combine that with its stunning setting and aesthetic positions, and you've got one of the best pitches in the canyon. If you climb 5.12 and crave exposure, then this is a must-do route!
This was as close as I could find

So piling on?
Does on-line bullying and baiting me
Come with your admin tasks?
You said I should start a new thread
I have not and will not bother to do so.
I don't seem to fit in anywhere and haven't cared enough
to do anything about what others have perceived as bullying.
But
this month has been more interesting.
As a member of a national group
that is tasked with taking on societal issues that need addressing,
I now need to consider what the last speaker said.
This is a month dedicated to bring to light in a national way
to on-line bullying.
Some time ago I pointed out that after a hundred
Years of almost free access, areas were closed to climbers.
Not hikers or bird watchers or people with strollers.
Climbers as a user group have been signaled out.
Land owners asked legal advisers
for an opinion, and acted on that advise.
Your response to my post and the general worthyness of climbers
as a user group both go to the point that if left to the parties that rule the roost,
and oppertunisticly steer climbing in detections that mar the experience of every one
Leave little doubt that avoiding any interaction with climbers is the best course of action.

As Doc Hartouni once said:
When I was in High School I realized I could take the bus from Claremont to downtown LA for 35¢ because the women who cleaned the houses in the suburbs had to have affordable transportation. I was the only white kid on the bus...
Interesting phenomenon. I used to ride the bus from Costa Mesa to UCI with that same group.
Later, a couple times when the car was being fixed-up, I rode from Hollyweird to Century City, lo and behold the group was still on the bus.
Which all goes to show, you're either on the bus or off it.
"The Yaquis themselves are now approached by outsiders in search of don Juan. A Pascua Nueva Yaqui leader related that no few Volkswagen buses, usually with California license plates, find their way to Pascua Nueva. The inhabitants of the VW buses are described as "long-haired hippies," for the word hippie has deeply penetrated Yaqui consciousness with strong negative connotations. The Pascua Nueva leader explained with some delight his tactics for dealing with these unwelcome intrusions. When inquiries begin, he says he has never heard of don Juan. Slowly he shifts to admitting cautiously that there is a don Juan but he must be protected. Finally, he weakens and tells the inquirers where don Juan lives. There actually is an old man named don Juan who lives in Pascua Nueva, one said to have considerable ingenuity in spinning tales. Everyone is vastly amused and the hippies are usually good for a little money, cigarettes, beer, and other things before they have been had."
Interesting that I do not recall anyone checking the parking lots at Irvine when Castaneda was teaching "The Phenomenolgy of Shamanism" for what his ride was, but recall he purportedly met don Juan at the Greyhound Bus Depot in Nogales, AZ.
It is reported that Carlos traded in his own VW Bus for an Audi around 1973.

This one, some here might have read before, if you recognize it please keep the flames
And use my gnome de plume,
There is a segment of outdoors-men who proudly fit into the old school ways of getting up and out and into a stand or blind 3or4 Hours before dawn. Hot coffee, sausage snacks and not much else.
They sit tight and , if allowed , use scent and know which direction the wind is moving.
As - ready to shoot - in low light starts to change to - time to shoot - as the mist lifts through the knee high brush.
Many seed a target area. Some actually fall asleep.so are tethered to the stand, especially
The, self climbing types.
While walking ,stalking, game is romantic and is still viable in the greater west, old school- hunting as a goal to get some meat and to be in touch with a tradition of self sufficiency, is most successful
when practiced alone in a wild untracked area at a time of day that is not when anyone else is in the woods.
I have become aware of a private property right to hunt, with a bow at any time using any method ,spreading corn loading trails to other properties with brush and derbies to funnel deer through a target area where a camera and cracked corn bait and a salt lick are used. All while a fixed ladder and bench seat are placed against a tree at ten feet up, remember anytime of day bow only - not even black powder is allowed.
I can't stand it ! For 30+ years my next door neighbor has had a 'real' tree stand in the same 6 acres tract, and hunted as I described, he also hunts in orchards and hilly fields with a gun but from his back door in a residential neighborhood with a bow.
Then after not selling for at least 4 years an old owner convinced a property owner to give a right of 1st refusal to attach to the less than 1 acres property he could not sell. A chuckle head bought the property and set up a ground tent and the rig I described. Then I had no idea but the heads up neighbor started shinning lights into the woods, then the chuckle-head did the same - light wars ? It turns out the old school guy a skilled archer who still target shots toward my back yard. Is totally pissed off at the new guy .He asked me to call and have new guy's credentials checked ?
It turns out that the 1st right thing gives him superior rights! And now thee years later the snuck has some ownership of what we , 9 other neighbors had shared and valued as open space .
This all sucks hunting from your 6 acres with corn - salt lick Barriers to funnel the deer and lights?
Sucks!
Children play in the woods, more than one family pet is buried in that small strip of woods that backs onto people's pools it was dedicated wet lands some still is but we all have lost so much property value and now this stooge!
I bang pots and use a rescue whistle it is now 5:42 time to go make noise....
I like it and am not against hunting just hunting with no ethics in the truly dense back yards of residential neighborhoods .
What's the good word who can say bo about mfm?
True to the next I was not up all last night but most of it
We need an update. I want to be only positive
Gene? Dwain? Brian post up!
