If you're looking to debate issues with a reasonable conservative, those have gone unicorn status. Most reasonable conservatives are independents by now. What's left is...Well you know.

It's laughable (or distressing) that Jody, Mad, Cosmic, Werner and others are so miserable that seeing liberals loosing their minds over Trump gives them pleasure.

I get no pleasure knowing that affluent, business owning libritards like myself will benefit quantum levels above these guys as a result of this administration's policies. With a fair amount of confidence, I would say most liberals are concerned about the futures of, ALL our children and grandchildren and really don't give much thought to perceived, government bondage of angry white guys.

My guess is that these guys have had every opportunity this great country offers to create happiness and are pissed because they either blew it or have false expectations.

So far so good? What planet are you living on? He is constantly dogged by scandal after scandal.

Now we know that their campaign was talking to Russian intel officers. So far they say, "No evidence of collusion, but why else would they be talking to the Russians?

We already know that Clinton was under attack by the Russians, and through wikileaks they tried to sabotage her campaign.

There is no way to know how much the Russians hurt Clinton, but we have never seen anything like this. Ever. To now know that Trump's campaign was talking with the Russians for a good year, while they were attacking Clinton at the same time, it made some effect.

He is also a huge liar. He won't release his tax returns, despite over a year of promises, and he won't divest himself from his businesses. Why? He is old as dirt, and his kids seem to be already involved. We have never seen a president behave like this.

The real bombshell will come when the Intelligence Committee sees the transcripts of the contacts with the Russians. If there was collusion, then Trump will be out of office within the year.

What presidential candidate in history has been in contact with the Russians before and after the election, before he was sworn in? Doesn't he know that the Russians are geopolitical rivals? It is a damned mess, and I want to know the whole story. Flynn's short tenure is evidence of something larger.

I didn't even vote for Clinton. I vote Libertarian when I don't like either candidate. Guys like Jody were always making noise about Obama's Executive Orders as being unconstitutional. Now they are silent while Trump out-Obama's even Obama in that respect.

The guy needs to settle down and act professionally. So far we have seen an incredibly thin skin where he goes after little actors on Twitter, late at night. Apparently he doesn't know the definition of Ad Hominem Attack. He doesn't have to do that. He should ignore the little stuff and concentrate on learning how to govern, because he is woefully unprepared. Every sentence out of his mouth creates some foreign policy scandal.

Several things stand out with regards to the Russians:

a) Immediately after taking office, trumpco lifted a ban on selling high-end tech to Russian intelligence services - better gear than they just used to hack the election.

b) The Russians didn't react to Obama's sanctions because of assurances they'd be lifted by trumpco

c) The Russians deploys advanced cruise missiles threatening the EU in violation of existing treaties as soon as trumpco's team is in place - not word one from trumpco.

If Hillary had won and the gop had found her campaign had extensive contacts with the Russians before during and after the election there would be several select committee investigations and we'd already be in impeachment hearings.

The nightly NPR program Indivisible is amazing. 24 days in and so far so good is right- but man you can't make this stuff up. Total self inflicted implosion. Bring Flynn in for a congressional hearing--I'm curious if he talks or if he falls on his sword.

Flynn is just one leg of the spider-like Russian involvement with trumpco - Manafort, Tillerson, Page and Stone are four others and we don't know who else, though likely trump himself.

When you get down to it one comes away with the impression that trumpco is dominated by white nationalists who see Russia and Putin as an 'enemy-of-my-enemy' (muslims, jews, asians and other assorted non-whites) and so worthy of aligning with on that basis alone even if it means overlooking eighty years of geopolitical realities and history which would rationally contraindicate any such an alignment.

It's very hard for me to avoid that conclusion and the fact that it's even more delusional and dangerous than the neocons' fantastical approach to elevating America to a unitary superpower.
