Since this has become a general ski stoke thread, here is the most creative ski segment probably ever. Unfortunately one of the skiers, JP Auclair, was lost in an avalanche this fall in South America.

If you have not watched this segment from the movie All I Can (2010 ?), you owe it to yourself. This is not your typical steep and deep segment.

bergbryce,
That video just made me 5 minutes late for a meeting-and it's about the 10th time I've seen it. It was worth it! thanks for posting.

Always liked that video, bergbryce. It is a masterpiece.

Tork ,you are caring,I would to......great pictures.

6-8 inches on the ground and it is really coming.

Looks as though the material needed for tomorrows work will not make it in time ,that is a shame.[Click to View YouTube Video]

The Ghoulwe Mountaineering Club's god of snow, Ningue. His roost is above Echo Lakes in the Tree's of Ningue along the Ralston Ridge. He is why we can ride the magic carpet doing what we do:

Ningue, I had no idea. We may have been visited by Ningue while camped at Ralston Lake. We were traversing the Desolation Wilderness when a storm sent us hustling for Echo Lakes. The storm broke as we came to the face of Ralston. There is a world class tree at the base that kept us sheltered while we lapped Ralston ripping hot powder on cool fungus.
It was probably Ningue that guided and protected our shenanigans. The best of times.

Thanks for the stokes folks.

Flip Flop, Ningue works in mysterious ways. His worship may not make it snow but it is the only chance we have as skiers, Praise Ningue!!!!
