Plotz came down to so cal from Leavenworth on a bouldering exchange program.
And I went up there
Insane granite, it reminded me of home
Central WA climbers know this guy…

The Leavenworth problems are Arrested Development and Sunny & steep... the "reminded me of home" one is the Black Mtn classic, The Fallen Arch.

The great late Kevin Bien, the Mayor of the Gunks
Shared an afternoon sesh of the bouldering kind,
He showed me the Gill problems, and the Cilliys
He made it fun and it is one of my most bitter sweet
Uberfall memories. We had climbed together many times. In Wyoming,
In South Dakota and the Gunks, but that afternoon was his last ever there
Within hours he was flying out and away to the cruel crumbling choss pile,of
The Matterhorn,

Ho my I have left the Gunks they added bolts and every thing is, pardon me but, is gunked up!
I do not know how the Divine one is doing!
nor why I am having my period !
Weepy, I have now climbed on the third stone from the sun longer than Kevin lived!
I have kids! Surely there is a cold spot in hell.
When I was ten Kevin saw me get stung and fall from the corner below the crux of High
Exposure, back to the GT ledge he kicked me, one shot! It caught me in the crook of my neck!
Stopped me from going off the ledge, maybe saved my life, as I said I was ten I don't think he
was thirty yet!
