Regarding MA and Romney's stewardship.
State spending increased every year while Romney was in office, and he left behind a $1 billion deficit for the next governor.
True or False?

The Globe reported that in a Nov. 27, 2006, briefing to Patrick, Romney aides projected a budget deficit of between $400 million and $1.1 billion for fiscal 2008, which was to begin in July 2007, six months into Patrick’s term. The total state budget at the time was $26 billion.

I do not necessarily agree with your politics. At the risk of sounding like a high school sophomore, isn't that what makes our country and similar democracies great. That we can agree to disagree and yet work for the common good.
HIgh school sophomore? Well, this puppy has interviewed Billy Boy, Carlos Salinas (okay, perhaps not one of Mexico's better presidents), Maggie Thatcher (what a pain), Tony Blair (three times), captains of industry, celebrities (let me tell you, I'm 5'6" and John Cleese is 6'6", I needed a ladder, hah hah).
I truly believe that both Obama and Mittens have, in their hearts, what they believe is best for the US. They just are thinking in different circles. Circles. Round and a round we go.
But I do not trust Romney and the Republican Party. Altruism? I think ulterior motives.

PS That is an enviable record of journalism. You are no sophomore. You have my respect, both for the way you express your thoughts, and now for that string of interviews.
Obama will be the equivalent of a h.s. junior when he is re-elected.
How will Joe Walsh (R-Ill.), who seems as concerned as we all are, react when the times suddenly feel better, say four years down the trail? I think people tend to forget that if it weren't for WWII, this country's recovery from the GD would have taken longer. Of course, no one seems to learn from history.
They go to bed feeling safe and wake up terrified about some new bugaboo.
Listen to this tape, listen to the second tape that comes up afterwards, where it seems none of the audience is listening to him; and listen to the answer to his tirade on the tape by Colenol Tammy.

I mean, the Mormon Church did not allow "people of color" in until when?
A popular fallacy, Patrick...all God's children have been welcomed as members since the LDS church was founded. Black males of african anscestry were barred from holding the priesthood until 1978.
