Yahoo News; The Motor City Madman insisted that he is "not provocative" compared with liberals and the media.
"I'm almost like a little puppy dog compared to these monsters," Nugent said, adding that "the left hates me" because "I promote the right to self defense."
Nugent cited Fort Knox's decision to cancel his June concert at the Kentucky post as one example of how "bread dead" liberals are "out to get" him.
"When I hear the political correctness that has somehow metastasized into the decision makers of the military, I was really let down that political correctness has any role at all in the military," he said.
Commanders at Fort Knox announced earlier this week that were eliminating Nugent from their annual summer concert because of his comments about President Obama.
While Nugent has endorsed Romney, the Detroit rocker said Friday that his first pick for president was Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who dropped out of the race in January.
"I wish he was the president right now, man!" Nugent told the Texas Tribune. "My problems would be over. "
Teddy is a bit whacked here in his fear of liberals... perhaps he has never heard of the chain of command or does not understand how it works? This had absolutly nothing to do with polotics, freedom of speach or dumbed down PC thinking. It is simply time honored conservative upholding of Military Disiplin. Bad mouthing or threatening the President in the military is no different than bad mouthing the commanding general of the army, the commander of the division, the base commander, the regiment commander, the batallion commander right on down to your platoon comander. Publicly go after any of these people above you in rank and your head will have to roll. It is the only way to keep military diciplin. It has always been this way. When Humpfery sacked McCarther it was a stiff reminder to the military of how the chain of command works. Same thing happened to McCrystal. Recently the marine who thought he could blog against the president found out that in the military the rules of the chain of command trump free speech any day of the week. The Ft Knox base commander had no choice but to can Teddy simply out of respect for the chain of command and the oath he has taken to protect the president.
Funny how the repugs are too stupid to even know this simple stuff......

Maybe if Ted had some actual military experience he would have a better understanding and respect for the chain of command. Instead he was too busy crapping his pants to avoid the draft.
Ted, I will always defend your right to be a loud mouth jerk, but you are still a loud mouth jerk

Dipshit Nugent wishes the South would have won.
Why? Because Roberts did the right thing on Health care. That and the fact that the White House isn't really white (which is the unsaid elephant in the Elephants' room).
That White Trash draft dodger calls Robert a "traitor."
Bluering loves the guy.

Because our legislative, judicial and executive branches of government hold the 10th Amendment in contempt, I’m beginning to wonder if it would have been best had the South won the Civil War. Our Founding Fathers’ concept of limited government is dead.

"... if I would have gone over there, I'd have been killed, or I'd have killed, or I'd kill all the hippies in the foxholes ... I would have killed everybody," he told the Detroit Free Press in an interview published July 15, 1990."

ted nugent single-handedly took out a japanese machine gun emplacement on iwo jima before making himself inegible for the viet nam draft. He had seen so much bloodshed and carnage that the thought of fighting in the verdant green jungles of SE Asia sickened him to the point of defecating in his pants and refusing to bathe so that he wouldn't have to fight any more asians. However, he has no problem with others killing Iraqis and Afghanis because they are a total threat to the U.S. It bothers him because shooting animals in a fenced-in enclosures is very American and that sh#t doesn't happen in Afghanistan or Iraq.

We forgive him, because Ted and his drummer are more American than we are.
BANGOR, Maine (AP) — A drummer for classic rocker Ted Nugent faces several charges after police in Bangor, Maine, say he was seen driving drunk in a golf cart stolen from a concert venue.
Officers working at Nugent's Sunday night concert were told that 55-year-old Mick Brown was intoxicated, had stolen the cart and was driving it recklessly on a foot path. Police say when officers tried to stop the cart, Brown sped past them and shoved a security officer. Two security officers then removed Brown from the cart, and he was arrested.
Brown, of Cave Creek, Ariz., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving to endanger, theft and assault. He was released on $4,000 bail.

At a campaign rally for Mitt he said he would be dead or in jail in a year if Obama was re-elected. I've got $500 that says he was lying.
