At the campfire by Jenny lake, the Booshway shook his head in amusement, it was just like his french canadian trapper charges to name those mountains after women's breasts; "grand Tetons", indeed!

Very good! It is appropriate to your neck of the woods. The mountain men
used it to describe someone who led a bunch of trappers or oversaw a rendezvous.

Emendation is a word that I would have thought unlikely to be in the vocabulary of someone for whom english is a second language. I had to make an emendation to that list though, as it seems there is at least one northern European who can by they throw it out there.
