It is good at any price but freaking fantastic at that price!

Client gave me a couple of "Icky" IPA's for a job well done today.

Then off to The Verm's Goddamn Platinum Age of Bouldering show The Mountain Rambler Brewery in Bishop.

It says "debauchery" on the flyer - I hope so, I can crawl home...

A retreat back to Choss Creek tonight from a purported climbing trip that started Thursday morning to another of Idaho's little known mountain ranges.

Heidi on Thursday afternoon, enjoying the smoke while seated on a big chunk of Chrysocolla at about 8,500 Ft. The afternoon thunderstorm was also starting to get a little noisy, just to our west.

I'm sorry to say------we retreated to the closest town, and enjoyed a late afternoon & evening, of thundershowers, smoke, & good wine at the Bear Bottom Inn.

We did take in the local mining museum, complete with Idaho bulletholes during our late afternoon.

Today was pretty good in the morning, then the winds and the smoke picked up at about 9,700' by early afternoon.

Damn if the drive home wasn't worth being back in the bug, wind, & smoke free environment here (inside with wine) in Choss Creek.

Cheers to those that stick it out!

If my English sensibilities were not so dominant, I would go all Friday-Night-Drunken-Raving on your collective asses.

TREE TIME!!!! Every night about 5 until sunset, finished Single Handed TransPac racers and their families and friends meet under the "Tree" on Hanalei Beach. This happens until the last racer comes in...approximately 7 to 8 nights. Beer, wine, Mai Tais, and pupus flow freely. A Hawaiian version of the "Campfire". So it's Friday night every night for over a week!

Starting Friday night on a Thursday afternoon at the Missoula Airport.
1 Maker's Mark on the rocks, 2 pints Moosedrool brown ale. (before 4:00 PM)

I've been off-line for a week. I heard things got... weird. Hopefully all my posts this afternoon will contribute to the weirdness.

Hoping to look up good ole' Cosmic this weekend for some desert rattage. However, I'm easily distracted by Sierra peaks.

Slid into home at about 9:00 tonight from a brief-adventure in northern Nevada.

Off to central Idaho next Tuesday, so the weekend is my weekend and I better have some wine.

H3 Cab tonight. I've had worse--------sluuuuurp.

I found some wild horses, and wild horse-turds at 8,000 Ft. in the Dolly Varden Mountains, along with some views. Actually ran into a gent that used to work at a copper mine there back in the 1980's. Kinda cool.

One bottle Chateau St Jean, Chardonnay, 2011, Sonoma County split with a friend, but I dank the must.

Where is everybody tonight? WTF? Fritz? Phylp? Pete? Where are my drunk friends when I need them? Probably all on Werner birthday threads. That guy never gets drunk and posts here. What a Weiner.

Spoosta go out with Cosmic on Sunday. Climb sum desert crags in the thunders and rains of the monsoon. Chuckwalla Monsoon I'll call my book of short stories resulting there of. Then when it sells, I'll start an endless thread called "What is Pineal Gland?" and post incomprehensible posts to it every day while Go-B posts pages from the the King James Bible and DMT posts voyeur snapshots and HFCS incessantly tells me I'm a total idiot. And life will be good and I will be Spider the famous climber. And Outside Mag will ask me my opionion on things. And up and coming sports youtoob channel talk shows will interview me and noobs will take my opion as gospetl.

Shite! That was probally too much. Sorry! Sorry about that. Gotta go.

EDIT: The Larry, that was the fukin funniest meme I've ever seen (posted above)

Well, whatevah, that was some memorable grape juice.
