I'm sure Hillary will unite the country. This election should draw into sharp focus the stakes when everyone in the country is required to do Big Daddy .Gov's bidding.

Escopeta... i'm 60 going on 19... Obama beat Hillary several years back..If Hillary wins the presidency , does this mean we are going to have a President that's less talented than Obama...?

Bernie supporters who say they will now vote for Trump don't have a clue what Bernie stands for. Zero. And they certainly don't have any idea what "the good lord" stands for.
Couchmaster started this thread over a year ago as a place for haters like him to have a laugh at Hillary's expense. Jokes on you, pal.

I'm sure Hillary will unite the country When you say unite, do you mean like "a united armed revolution against the government?"

Better a narcissistic liar than Hillary.
Seriously? You'd flush the Supreme Court down a toilet because you've bought into a bunch of bullshit memes about hillary? That's some pretty heavy sh#t you're smoking there.

With ST as evidence, most people view their neighbor as the enemy. He's too religious, he's too rich, that company makes too much money... Blah Blah
Which is exactly how our elected elite want it. They are more than happy to see us fight each other as long as its a foregone conclusion that we submit the power to them to decide.
A united country is one where people are free to live how they see fit and dispose of their assets in the manner of their choosing as long as it doesn't violate the rights of other people.
Think Hillary is supportive of that? Think Donald is? Bernie? Guess again.
Most of you don't have time to fight the government, you're too busy fighting each other.....using the government as your primary weapon system.

That's actually pretty funny, SLR. Obviously, only a fool would believe anyone is going to unite the country. Never happened, not going to happen. Luckily, a democracy is majority rule, so the threshold is substantially lower then the "whole" country. Unite "just enough", maybe.
I would note that Hillary is essentially running as Obama's 3rd term and his approval rating is 52%. By comparison, at this point G.W. Bush's was 28%.
As for armed revolution...nah. Although, there will be some threats after Hillary wins from the usual extremist crowd. But they'll go back to their bunkers soon enough.

I'm pretty sure that life, liberty and happiness is not solely about disposing of assets.

One way to tell whether a Bernie supporter is delusionally rabid is when they display less sense than Lindsey Graham...
"There'll come a time when the love of country will trump hatred of Hillary Clinton."

I voted for Hillary. I was/am angry enough to vote for Bernie, but when it came time to color in the oval I had to go with Hillary. I was so turned off by Bernie's most hateful supporters. One of my friends called them the Bernie Bros. I'm an old enough woman to make the achievement of a woman President really inspirational. And I'm old enough to be okay with centrist politics.

Oh, I'd vote for Bernie in a heartbeat except for two things:
a) He can't get any aspect of his agenda through congress.
b) He bailed on rough and tumble NYC politics and came up in Vermont instead - Vermont politics are quaint and cute in a visit-to-Williamsburg sort of way. It is not a 'crucible' of any kind, but rather a political backwater where the going is easy. He just doesn't have the background necessary to keep us from losing ground to the looming republican congressional agenda.
Bottom line: I'd have voted for him if democrats controlled congress, but as it is we need knife fighter and that just ain't Bernie.

He doesn't have it yet, Daphne. His ship is taking on water fast. It's a long shot, but if he doesn't reel in the racism, he might find himself outmaneuvered in Cleveland.
