I would surely appreciate your doin' that.
Thx, MFM
It will likely be that I will be incapacitated due to upcoming medical issues, or you'd have seen this ZZ Top write-in campaign in the news already. I'll have to tell the Monsignor, but he's a cool dude. There will be someone to take up the reins.

hey there say, mouse, zbrown, and all flames...
feralfae and all...
just saw this, clip, while looking for something similar, but not quite as
wild, and well:
this seemed to fit here, for the ol' flames, for a share...
might go with some of the many situations that pop up on the taco...
it is action-reaction stuff...
by a very great actor...
(me, well, i have to turn away from the violent stuff, but the other
stuff, is pretty neat, at times) ...
but--it seems there just might be
something for everyone, here, somewhere...
so here you go:

I've been using the Dolt pack to carry my whole climbing kit.
Slings and 8-10 cams, so a small rack with a few wires,
& doubles of the smallest three tri-cams.
I Almost never carry the 'boat anchors' #s 5-6
But when I do I carry doubles...,(#s 7-8?? please NO!)
Along with shoes, harness, 'biners, a belay device or two.
Water, snacks and a shell layer, for walking In, before sun up
and back out after sunset.
The pocket holds a lot:
A map/topo page, flashlight. & a head lamp.
a lighter, & a flashlight whistle compass mirror match case,
that has a serrated blade and utility cord wrapped around the two, , ,
it sounds awkward, I use it all the time..
Two or three kinds of paper. some first aid stuff. .
with all that,
it fits in with all the top roping here in small rock hell,
It even holds a length of static line,for a top-rope set-up.
The DOLT basic bag / back pack,
it stands on its own.
.,(7-8?? please NO!)[Click to View YouTube Video]

I did not watch the MN Violence Fest tonight, just kept up with the score.
Let the kid decide for himself after you tell him it's poor sportsmanship to aim for the second baseman or shortstop's nads.
He should be so lucky to play baseball instead of sucker.
Also, tell him simply to despise the French way and he may learn how to be a pure clamberer.
And show him the Plaidman's (Scott Peterson) Facebook log...it's chock full of good El Cap pics.
Awesome, guys!
Keep smilin'!

Hey, I never actually noticed how bagpipes affect us till now. This last video made me uncomfortable.
They are war pipes, good for scrambling the blood and brains of young brawny studs who will then flock to the banner and pile themselves in rows on rows.
And the carrion crows move in looking for eyes, next the nose,
but they'll ignore the elbows, working their way down to the toes.
I don't approve of war-mongering, as you know, Gnome; though I do like some bagpipe music because it's too martial in general and most too raucous.
Nothing gentle-sounding sticks out in my memory.
For me, the pipes do not soothe, but only serve to excite.

I mean it when I say I'm against war. I watch plenty of violence, though.
Lately, John Decker has his new deluxe state-of-the-art screen and has the bugs worked out. He went and bought season four of The Vikings and we have been screening that.
There is a lot of blood. Literally, most everybody dies in the Game of Thrones series, and it's just the way it goes when war follows on war.
But the story lines of The Vikings, though they are based around bloody incursions into sovereign territory, are the stuff of Shakespeare, not the stuff of a culture steeped in warfare, as in the case with GOT.
Since I began watching the entire series, I've come to see each of the major characters who survive from one season to the next as individuals who are driven by their own desires and dreams, yet completely subject themselves to the will of their gods. The passing of the spiritual torch from paganism to Christianity is loaded with conflict, for instance. And the change from sea raiders to settled Englishmen is a complicated story.
And there is the historical past of which these characters are largely ignorant. Only a few in England realized then just who the Romans were, and the general understanding is that they were a race of giants, which was fine with the Christian bishops.
Once you get past the incredible violence of close-up one-on-one fighting (the actors and extras seem to be getting better at staging battles and the film editors are learning also--you see the difference from one season to the next) and begin to pay attention to the various story lines, it is an exceptional experience, theatrically speaking.
Highly recommended for mature audiences, for in addition to violence, there is blatant sex, lying, and double-dealing--just like in Shakespeare except for the sex.
I try to keep it in perspective, though. Like Danny Glover, I'm too old for that sh#t.

Dragged away but I'm so old school practice Non is what we used to say the sad resurgence of real fighting on tv is not a good thing if we look in a mirror . .

I'll fix it in a bit that up there
Thrones are for daily constitutionals!
I need to go. .
But yes
yes and to much
gratuitous bloody violence
bug go go see some
if not all the value in game of Vikings coming
to a more stable civilization
Tv that costs. ,? ! and seems to entertain?
Wait ??
What ?. Seems like the purple window pain the hard gel not that soft shjt. . .
We watch the Game o Thrones, it sets her off to watch me squirm at all the blood although she denies it ! If I cook and do the dishes I miss most of the worst graphic violence,
And she's my sweetly so it lends to the concern for what effect it has on the troglodytes
Knives at your theatre makes you hornet? Rape fantasy? Society in trouble if you see it the way I do.
The blood is hard to take, and then to heap on having paid to watch !. .
That is a description of a date night around here funny by the way !
Now. Three things pressing I'm all high stepping 'cause I'm getting hits on some thing but I have not even opened it to update it in a year so ,.mfm you be bright and positive
I'll be dun dundering ahead and back and forth again soon

Is there any bouldering allowed on the Rock nowadays?

So the two Alcatraz Brothers plus One (good name for a route?), caught a tow on the ferry to a waiting boat.
One of the guards saw the boat, but his report was discounted since they already knew no one could escape from the Rock and everybody knew they drowned.
Rock steady and stay out of Bad Company
