Sorry for the late notice........
Today at sundown, Mike Matheson will hold a memorial service for our long time friend and Stoney Boy: Steve Bouglou who passed recently.
See you all at sundown up at "Stock Rock" (thats behind and up from Turlok)
Bring your best stuff and come and share some Steve stories.
He will be missed.

We need a Pyro appreciation thread. This thread is gold. Miss ya buddy! Keep up the good surf. You have always been one of my favorite to climb with and fun times at the crag. Thanks for all the memories. I still remember the time you hiked to the base of the column to help adam and i, then we asked you to buy us beer! Lol good times... then we climbed the tower the next week!!!

Alex, the heat is greatly overstated. If you show up at like 2 pm , its hot as heck. But stay at work in the AC doing your bosses bidding intill around 5:15 then come on out..... sea breeze kickes up pretty good (only in north Chatsworth, not the rest of the Valley) around 4:30, start bouldering around back and finish up at Boulder 1 ...... drinking beer!
This is the way, the path, the light.
But not this Thursday.... some of US will be headed out to this place named Shuteye.

I was planning to get in on the Shuteye trip, but I'm gonna go to Vegas to watch my wife win the US Powerlifting Assn. nationals. She took the state record in her age group (55-59) in March:
Deadlift: 319.7
Squat: 226
Bench: 181.9
Total: 727.6
This should be interesting...
