Thanks Nate for your thoughtful portraits at Lynne's party. It was fun stepping up and acting out. Almost felt like a celebrity. Wish Steve and I would've jumped into the booth as Ana suggested. Love to all. Seriously. I think we've got something here.
Can't wait to get to Josh again next.
BVB, you rock! Another witness.

Bill Ramsey told me that he came across a bum sleeping in a doorway downtown with a brand new walkman strapped to his head, and that was the inspiration to name a route starving in stereo.

Grug if you tell bvb you like his pic it will only encourage him to post more. You will end up on his mailing list and never get off. Ive tried to get his PR ppl to stop sending me those bvb posters of the month for years now without luck.

was thinking about my Dad and popped on super topo...saw this about Top Secret file...I didn't think anyone else really new about this route...I was there with my Dad when it finally went, only saw him do it once and never saw anyone else on it. Still don't know how he did it and I couldn't, I was so close, we had the same rubber on our shoe's and we followed the same process of cleaning etc...so either he was sand baggin me on the rubber I was using, or he was just wicked good on smearing problems...we also did another tough smear problem called KP's Demise that was probably 5.12. Luv ya Dad,

Pete yer Dad was a wizard climber(as I'm sure you already know)no doubt you were getting sandbagged, but in a good way if it was coming from Dan. He taught me more boulder problems and had a BIG influence on my early climbing days, mid to late 70's, hats off to Dan, if there were a few more like him....what a GREAT place this would be!
Peace

Hi Son, I was saving this as a surprise So don't tell the rest of the family.....I recently found a bunch of slides from bitd. I couldn't tell what they were, but a friend sorted them out recently. Even friend was impressed with quality and climbs. Dave Evans, Darryl Nakahira, Doug Sizner, Jeff Elgar, Rob Raker and others including you, me and your siblings. Yosemite, Suicide, Tahquitz, Josh, Needles etc.
Putting together a DVD. Friend suggested also downloading some to ST here. Also possibly having another Casa Leichtfuss campout here in VC inviting whoever wants to come to show their slides. A little music and we have a party...:D Mom
funny....I too was thinking of Dan/your Pop very poignantly this morning.

hmmm, imagine that Mom you're on super topo...:)
I knew there were good slides in there somewhere, a summer party would be really cool, it's funny how you're just doing the most random of things and it triggers memories, some guy here at work just started climbing and was super stoked on it and we got into talking about Woodson then I started thinking about Secret Agent Man, if any one else had done it....for some reason that problem always stuck in my head, Dad and I went there like everyday one summer trying to get it, he finally did.
