FYI to all you anti gunnuts: I had to take an extensive all day class on how to "sniff out" straw purchases from an ATFE rep. HE went over the various techniques employed and if we detect the slightest hint of a straw purchase we shut that sale down immediately. The company i work for has one of the highest grades from ATFE for this very thing. We are not ONE BIT reserved in loosing a sale due to a straw purchase and our job is defined and counts on that as well. And our paper work on the back ground checks is checked three times before filing.
This is the way it should be. Much better for everyone if the industry polices itself.
Something like the Newtown school shooting, a couple hundred years ago, a mob would've gone over to the gun store, hung the owners and burnt it out.

Morning Ron. I commend you and the business that hired you in your efforts to exercise caution and accountability in gun sales.
But I am taken by an earlier statement you made that sounds peculiarly threatening.

Nevadans are buying guns at a RAPID pace. In Fact the new store in Carson is headed for the #1 position of a LARGE franchise and we will be there within another week. So you B&B crowds should steer clear of this state from now and into the foreseeable future. It is after all, what you fear. things like freedom from oppressive govt actions will NO LONGER BE TOLERATED here. You in B& B can have those with our thanks. Hope you enjoy what you get. For us here in the Great Basin state - we shall be enjoying our strengths. We shall covet our OPEN lands and our first amendment rights areas shall include any where we step breath or fart thank you.
Tell me then if you would please when will the unforeseeable future be when I can feel safe coming back to Nevada?
Do I need an armed guard to go repeat some of my old routes?
I had resolved to make my 13th major comeback on my old choss fest the Resolution Arete.
Should I be worried? Will I be a target?
Should average American families who aren't packin' avoid Vegas for the foreseeable future?
Do you think the Casino biz will appreciate any loss of revenue when people decide that vacationing in Beirut might be safer? Question does the Casino biz have any guns?

All those guys in suits are probably packin'. Easily concealed. Pretty easy to get a CCW in Nevada too.
That's right one bb one kill.

But Newtown, the Mom bought the gunz for her looney boy, amirite? Wouldn't that be a proxy sale?
Funny (weird) how it turned out. The NRA and the gun industry never had it so good. Sales and memberships went through the roof. Aiming gunz at Feds is ok now.

Also, I not sure how your chickenshit sniper man hiding behind concrete somehow is not analogous with the spiiker. The net effect is the same a hidden coercive force influencing the outcome of a mandated task. Uhhh Yup.
The so called Eco-terrorist have killed no one.
The radical right on the other hand not so gud.

If you exercise your mouth like you do your fingers Philo, frankly, id think you should be worried wherever you go 24/7..And YES casinos have armed security..
Ron I know you are all over the 2nd Ammendment but maybe you should read the 1st one.
But in other words unless I am packing equal fire power I should consider myself persona non grata in Nevada ? But if I come armed like an LA bank robber I will be welcomed with open... um... arms?

maybe we should round up all the gun nuts and put em in FEMA camps
That's going to be kind of a pain in the ass since they're all, you know, armed

So "Tisdale" shows up. Some claim a Chuff sock puppet, some buy it at face value.
Here's what I see, two folks who just happen...purely by coincidence, I'm sure...to use the same f*#ked up grammar/word useage. To wit -
"Tisale":
Nice to have a certified firearms training center near by with a beautifully run range that we pertain to.
and Huff-n-Chuff:
there has been not one criminal incident of any sorts. The house I live in (4 Bdrm w/Det 3 Car Garage and 1 Acre of land) pertained to the active and then retired IC Sherrif.
Hi Chuff. Nice sock puppet you're runnin' there.

Why don't you patriots march on Wall Street and the Bankers?
It seems obvious to me that they are the real threat to American sovereignty.
The BLM are just soldiers in the system. And they have become armed in an insane hissy fit response to the boogie man of nineoneone under Bushboi. Remember the Bush Administration?. Didn't you guys cheer him on and call all of US anti-War posters pussys and anti-American and traitor?

You mean NYC? Do you have any idea what would happen if they try that sh#t here? It would be lulz.
When the "Rolling Thunder" guise come through NYC, they shut down the streets and give them a police escort right through the town. Just keep moving d00ds. NYC police know how to break a crowd up and crush the pieces.

“Again, something substantive like a guiding certificate would be a good start. Have you got a website with all your guides credentials noted for your clients?”
----------------------------------------------------------------
My goodness. Some of you gentlemen are up early and back at it without missing a note. Certainly some do not have to deal with the complex daily responsibilities of a family nor a profession. You must be retired. Time is limited as my appointment schedule this morning and the rest of the day is rather hectic. So I will contribute the following and possibly return this evening if quality time with my family permits.
I am not sure I understand your question Mr. Kay. I personally am not at all affiliated with his employer nor the daily operations of any guide service. I was a client and hope to be one again in the near future. Time permitting. I have no say as far as the content of the website for the service he is employed by. I am a simple procurement contractor for the Department of Defense here in the local San Diego area.
I propose the following question to you Mr. Kay. When was the last time you entered the offices of your physician, dentist, attorney or even your local law enforcement, and demanded to see their certifications prior to requesting and then receiving their services? I am not aware of anyone that is compelled to nor does this practice on a regular basis. I never requested any evidence of his certifications. I did do my research after he and his employer’s company were highly recommended to me by a close friend as I indicated in my original post.
Mr. Philo, I could certainly shed some enthusiastic accolades your way. But I do not know you personally. I am not going to judge you based on your behavior on this internet forum. That wouldn't be fair in my opinion. Don’t you think?
I find it rather enlightening and very humorous that some are proposing that I am "The Chief" in sheep's garments. You can rest assured that is not the case. But you can believe what you wish. I did email him last night. He informed me that he will not be present on this forum any time soon. You have banished him to the four corners of the globe. Most likely never to return. Do I hear an Amen?
On a final note, I will contribute my following opinion on what appears to be a hot issue here. The gun industry is like any other this country has developed over the past century and a half. Purely supply and demand. One must also consider the manufactures of guns that are available on the market today. A large quantity come from other countries and are imported. So is much of the ammunition that is currently available. Are we to curtail the importation of all those products in order to mitigate what some here believe to be the foundation of today’s current crime issue nationwide? It would be like the War in Drugs. Call it the War on Guns maybe? That would be one difficult and very costly task for the federal gov’t to pursue. I believe the American taxpayers money can be more wisely spent in taking care of the citizens and their fundamental needs. Don’t you?
My busy schedule calls me. You gentlemen have a good and peaceful day. Some should consider smiling and possibly getting out of the confines you may be in. Even go climb. Surely wish I could. Cheers.

"the gun industry is very rationally aware that universal background checks would immediately cut into that proportion of their sales that are straw purchases."
The entire gun rights debate in one sentence.
The rest is fluff.
