Gosh Mike, I thought of you watching Chris Lindner on IHMT and wondered what your comments would have been. He sat on the ground Mike and pulled seemingly effortlessly through the overhanging bottom section that involved a drop-knee that almost touched the ground then reached with his left hand to undercling the smooth bulge at the bottom of the crack. He then pasted his left toe on the initial nub that most of us use when doing the "stone start" and reached the right index finger pocket. He progressed from here. Of course, no pictures were taken!
I mentioned before that Chris added a sit start to Retopulsion where Chris concluded, "There's no feet down here," so he did two, two finger campus moves on knobs and a heel-hook next to his left cheek to gain the arete and then continued.
I haven't mentioned that on the traverse behind Shawn's Knobs, Chris added a variation to the finish. Instead of throwing out right to the top edge Chris eyed the top directly behind him which resulted in a possible further throw to a three finger catch with the left hand which Nathan Smith captured with some pictures of this. Can't wait to see them!
Chris said he may be moving back to the house in Ramona and if he does the face of Woodson will certainly be changed!

Sure glad you did this Ed for there is something special about a video as opposed to just seeing pictures...classic!
This is posted to the right of the video on YouTube...
"Mike Friedrichs climbs Robbin's Crack, 5.10 at Mt. Woodson, CA March 20, 2010 during the great Mt. Woodson reunion visit."

Ed, just a suggestion...
Edit the title's of your video's and put "Mt.Woodson" at the beginning of the title so when others do a search of Mt. Woodson they'll all be grouped together, ie; Mt. Woodson - Robbin's Crack, Mt. Woodson - Monkey Crack, etc. I've done the same for my videos at Mt. Woodson and for Santee Boulders.

I have not mentioned another wonder kid up on the mountain, well, in his mid thirties, almost another generation older than my kids, but Andrew is his name. He and his wife Kathy, who just became new parents, have been visiting Mt. Woodson for a number of years and have both become accomplished climbers.
These are clips from a video that I hadn't seen before that show's Andrew ticking off three of the hardest "5.12" cracks up on the mountain! I'm telling you guys, Andrew is strong, really strong. He includes these problems in a circuit he does that includes doing laps on some of these, which includes Retropulsion which he repeats up to three times and Starving in Stereo twice that I've seen! The video link is below:

Yes, I had trouble...
Didn't want to install Quick Time
Downloaded video, still wouldn't play
Installed Quick Time
Still wouldn't play
Went to file installed previously, it finally played there.
Just an FYI to all that these are portraits, not climbing pics.
