Thursday afternoon I went to visit Kanom's Hopping Rabbit Farm. It's a lovely meadow and the house is grand, but we only visited a short time.
You might not expect the fruit stand would be so active as it was, but he was definitely hopping.
The Khanom Palace is in the background.
Their land lies on Cuneo Road, which sounds very like the Spanish word conejo, or rabbit.
Eric tells me his business is as good as it is because folks up here are desperate for fresh veggies.
Just let me say it was an eye-opening drive for me, as I had never been up Fiske Road out of Greeley Hill, and it's a gorgeous long meadow leading to your spot. Thanks to you both and God bless your venture with all the best.

I liked that one, Tami.
You have excellent taste and your shoes obviously match.
Some people are not perfect.
I know, it's a universal truth, but at least we both know different.
We've learned from our mistakes, too.
Some never do.
I loved the black and white and appreciate the effort Mr. Lipsett made to educate you and others.
But NASA finally figured it out, back then, at least.
It just took trial and lots and lots of error, WHICH MANY OF US FORGET.

Mr. Merlot, thanks, you magic Norsty. You run some seriously cool didaction on your part, too. School should be more damn fun than not going to school. How simple is that? A high schooler simply doesn't want to be bored and TOLD. If it's on offer, they may or may not take a bite and chew on it; it's at least a bit more tempting to bite an educational apple if it's read to them. Too little effort goes into making subjects more (shyte) interesting.
Been out bein' a blue-eyed son of a gun, looking for dead oceans (the whole central valley, if you please), and trying to figure out my next moves on the board of life in advance. And I was just thinking of you, Taddly.
What have YOU and MO been doin'? The kiddies all safe? Will you be around at Facelift?

Since the Truth is in our hearts forever,

Those are verses 1-4. The rest of the chapter is in the same vein.
The Elder John closes the letter in this manner:

Verse 12 seems a good place to close this homily. I don't want to bore anyone with my peace of mind.
I shall be at Facelift. I hope to see and meet many of you brother climbers and your families and have a joyous time ourselves!

I still have many rough edges, but these kind of stones make excellent building material, do they not? Not necessarily better, because the Mighty Builder is the one who chooses each of us for special tasks.

I have been to the top of Otay twice and to Monument Peak of Mt. Laguna thrice.
Interestingly, on one Otay trip an inmate had escaped from the nearby Donovon State Prison and we encountered 14 Border Patrol vehicles which kindly (or not) generated enough dust to make me cough for two weeks afterwards. They did assure us we would be fully protected (even though the guy was forty miles away in another part of the county).

Why have we a brain, otherwise, than to scope out the WatchTower, Awake, The Ligourian, World Magazine, just to name a few modern epistolic publications, let alone The Book?
You don't need reason when faith is concerned. It's just that simple. We make our own choices based on reason. I find my life quieter, more relaxed and worry-free than ever currently. It's reason enough for me at this stage in my life. Whether I live after death is of no real consequence to me, I'm not seeking heavenly reward; but it would be as wild a surprise as consciously experiencing one's last ride on that waterfall, should that come to pass.
And as to whether dead matter can or will rise at the end of the world, we are all in this together, and if everyone were to operate in the same manner, this could be a paradise. Reason tells us this cannot happen currently. This is where hope buttresses love.
It's a good reason to check out the bible and I'm glad for the biblical education that was given me. I'm a step ahead of some others, meaning I'm a leader of sorts, actually trying to live up to the expectations of my parents in a minor, unanticipated way, but doing it honestly and with patience.
It is a comfortable role and that is all I should say.

As sermons go, this is not one. It is only a meditation on responsiblilty. But the fact is, we are our brother's keeper, and his
well-being should be our concern. When we ditch this responsiblility, we are in error. And to accept this responsibility takes courage. From where does our courage come to us in some of these situations involving our brothers-in arms or our brothers-in-daily-life?
People have labeled me a leader, and that is hard to stomach, as I am not a good role model, or haven't been, to my mind.
Things look different today, I hear every mother say.
They aren't different now from WWII, or Galilee in the time of the Apostles when it comes to the important stuff, but a casual observer wouldn't see this, only accept the lyric as good enough, without thinking. (Thank you, Mr. Lipsett).

I think they are wrong in that and I'm not afraid to say it. You're like a stone, dudes. You're going to the bottom quickly without help, from above or from your mates, you will soon be meeting your fates.
Peter found it out the hard way, according to the old story. He adjusted to the yoke and found it comfortable.

what i MEANT when i shared that is this:
things that are very overpowering as to pressured and fast paced PUSH PUSH PUSHES whether in music, talk, singing, or words/books, etc... is what i do not fill my mind with, or let myself BE DELUGED by, or watered with, etc,
:)
it makes the brain heavy and blocks out or own things and wonders at learning and listening to the whole picture of things, and it ruins our trail with rockfall, dead briars, and slipping dirt constantly where we start to step...
always better to, like plants, take in PROPER amounts of whatever is out there and TEST what is good 'food for us'...
:)
but, just wanted to share, that i sure don't mind listening to friends share what they are doing, how they feel, or what they enjoy, i just may careful in my own ways to go by the gut-feeling of what make my over-all
self, body, mind and spirit:
grow, flourish and give out the best fruit that i can, :)
and, of course, i keep praying, :)
