Wow,
for some lame reason I thought the second VB weekend was Aug 11-12, when I'll be at the show. maybe I can make to to VB v.2 on the 18-19. VB v.1 sounds like it was fun.

A good time will be had! Talked to Rev Brumbaugh, he's going to make it there sometime next (the week of the) 13th, Though probably before the actual event. I'm heading out this friday but have class 6pm Monday the 20th in Cali, to get back to.

And don't forget to change your oil?

20-50 weight maybe, so nothing blows up?

Okay, I'm in for the next one. I'll be heading out with my 2 sons. We'll do some climbing and biking and find a family friendly spot to crash so no one feel like they have to "behave". I may have a tough time with that myself. :-)

Beatrix, I was the only one with kids last weekend and found a perfect secluded spot a short walk away from the main campfire. I'll be there sans family next time, so I'd be happy to show you that spot.

Now I'm gonna have all things Austin Powers stuck in my head! Silly Tar!

BTW Roy. . .I'm taking a day off next week to do something. If the weather looks good I want to head up to the Windian Peaks. Let me know if there is something up there that you haven't done and want to do. Only glitch is that I can't meet until 8:30 am or so and have to be back down the hill by 5. Drop me an E-mail if you want to get out. I'm thinking Wed.

eey. . .yes, if you could show me that spot I would appreciate it.

Is the spot on the first-page map link the right place to go?
I think I'm rolling in on Tuesday.

OK Jaybro, here's my to-do list for the next boogaloo. Whadd'ya think? I've decided to stick with offwidth rather than hands and fists, which is what I mostly ended up on at the last one (my hands can't take much more that soon).

Left Torpedo Tube
Right Torpedo Tube
Big Pink
Worm Drive

(I'm hoping those fist stacks that Scarpelli is using on Big Pink in that guidebook picture are not necessary.)

Scuffy_b, interested in any of these? I'll be without a partner this time.

sure, I'm interested in them all. I don't know which ones are
too hard, though.
I haven't learned any of the inversion stuff but I'm starting to
get the hang of stacks. A hand/fist stack from me is probably
almost as big as your fist jam.

I'm not getting within 200 feet of anything that is wider than my lower arm.

See you all in two weeks.

Tar...maybe we should drive up together??

Scuff, is the cell# I have for you still current? mine is. I'm leaving day after tomorrow. I may be in SLC longer than anticipated, so I could be synchronous with your arrival. We might have a lot of introductory ground to cover, climbwise, refresher for me, "god you're lame", for you (to me). I will have an lb of #101 beans and a grinder, maybe a salmon filet and definetly a grill. Any other essentials could be things you think of, or we scavange in the gem city of the high plains.
Call me if you think of anything. still haven't found my leatherman.

eeyonkee, great list, I'll go with you for those, never touched Worm drive, don't know if I still have (ever had) the tension in my belly for it, but we will have fun. somebody has to go with me to Tripmonk, though.

unicep style edit; Bob D', as I'm afraid you already know, there is nowhere in Vedauwoo that is not 200' from some crack wider than the biggest of lower arms. Come anyway, we will find some mutually positive objective that will challenge us as well as make us all laugh.

I plan to get out on the rocks this weekend to test out the fresh skin on my hands and knees, which surely will not last long. If so, then Boogaloo will take care of it, I am sure. I can't believe I have to wait NINE more days until Boogaloo 2. The anticipation is killing me. Argh. See y'all soon!
