Trump tariffs threaten the strong economic growth and the expected market returns: CNBC Fed Survey

•Economic growth year over year is seen rising nearly 3 percent in 2018, before dropping to 2.7 percent in 2019, according to respondents to the CNBC Fed Survey.
•Economists, money managers and strategists see the recent economic strength as temporary. And 53 percent peg protectionist trade policies as the biggest threat to the economy.
•Nearly 70 percent of respondents see two more rate hikes this year, an increase from the June survey, and most see an additional two or three quarter-point hikes in 2019.

Gunfight at the It's Not OK Corral?

Does Trump ever pack?

A Colorado man — who had just killed a home intruder moments before — was fatally shot by police after he was mistaken for a burglar.

Trump IS THE PUPPET.

It's so amazing you fools completely focus on the puppet and are completely clueless to the puppet masters.

And it's NOT the Russians who your moronic MSM keeps trying to smear .....

Dogs get to shist on sidewalks, why not people?

Don't you advocate individual freedoms?

Back in the 1990's, during a visit to Paris, I realized all the urban dwellers with dogs took them out evenings & early morning to "schist-them", often on sidewalks.

By 10:00 the next morning, the old socialist street cleaners had scooped up the schist & hosed & brushed off the residue.

That's not the American way.

Colorado shooting continued ...

Rathod told ABC News "a naked man kicked down the door to the house, entered the house, and was found choking Black Jr.'s 11-year-old grandson," strangling the boy in the bathtub. That boy's father, Black's stepson, went in and began wrestling with the naked man. Both he and Black were trying to save the boy.

"Mr. Black goes and gets his sidearm and shoots the intruder and saves his grandson," Rathod said. "Mr. Black walks out of the bathroom to see other individuals who had also come in the home. Black's wife had called the police and ran outside. She specifically told the police what her husband was wearing and there was a naked man attacking her grandson. Mr. Black walks out and is shot by police."

According to the lawyer, Black left the Army and became a federal agent. Prior to that, he was awarded a Bronze Star, with the first oak leaf cluster, an Army Combination Medal and a Purple Heart. Rathod said Black received all commendations for his service in the First Infantry Division simultaneously while at an Army hospital during the Vietnam War.

The art of the NO Deal

North Korea provided only a single dog tag to help identify the 55 cases of remains that were given to US officials on Friday, a US defense official told CNN.

Given the absence of any additional information to accompany the remains, the official said it "will take many months to a few years to identity" them based of previous experiences with the identification process.
"Other than a single dog tag, the Korean People's Army did not provide further information on where they recovered the remains or any other information," the official said.

The National Association of Home Builders estimates that the tariffs the Trump administration placed on Canadian softwood lumber — along with other factors — have increased the cost of constructing a house by $7,000. Higher lumber prices may cause a slowdown in home construction, which would also mean a possible slowdown in job growth. Both building permits and ground breakings slowed in June, according to the Commerce Department.

"Any higher costs for material comes right out of our profit," said Randy Noel, a custom builder in Louisiana and chairman of the home builders' board.

Higher costs mean his company has only sold 30 homes this year, rather than the normal 40. He's been using fewer subcontractors on projects — which means those workers lose income.

"They're sitting at home and looking for remodeling jobs," Noel said.
