Please, no more dental nightmare stories, makes me cringe.
Sh!t, I weigh 5 lbs. less than I did when I was a senior in high school. I'm sitting at 150 right now. I think I need to put on 5 lbs. of muscle. Man, this 5.8 at the Overlook (Red Wagon)really kicked my ass the other day. I Toproped the Right Trinity no problem though, but I got pretty pumped.

My name is Jon and I am a porker. 196

I started eating breakfast earlier the last four days. This helps me fire up the metabolism. Greek vanilla yogurt with granola on top, in a paper cup, to go.

Part of my problem this week was the customer made baked goodies every day and also made some breakfasts and lunches unannounced. I felt it was my duty to consume them.

This month those may not have been free meals.

Mister E, interesting option. Where in Mexico?

Whopper chest cold. I've been in bed for the last couple days. Not much appetite, though. Not sure if I'll go up or down in weight.

Nature,

Is this a final weigh in at the end date or progress during the play(course) of the challenge, as in football?

Not getting any kinder eating these.

No worries swellymon. I'll tell you my last chance weight loss secret; stop drinking beer the last week. Good for 5 lbs with my metabolism.

We're keeping it real simple. Nobody talked about side bets so those are out. Medium Sooze suggested a midway weigh in (5 lbs) and I like the idea but I'm lazy so....

weigh out before midnight April 5th and that's it. $10/lb not met unless you meet the 10lb lose. No penalty for turning into a bigger blob.

Got some food poisoning going on right now - not the best way to lose weight.

I'm back over 5 pounds lost. No exercise for the last few days, but no alcohol either, and my biggest calorie input has been Nyquil.

Down 10.3 but I think that might be a bit of dehydration. Down 16.5 isn't goal.

Sveltness here I come

Well, I'm down 5 lbs now and been that way for 4 days. When I go totally meatless, no dairy, and no oil my body has to be convinced I'm sticking to this new regimen before it will give up that next block of weight. In other words, I plateau for a week or so. So this next week I should start slowly shedding some more pounds. Not having any hunger pangs and snack on a normal schedule.

Workout wise I've been climbing 4 times a week, and cardiovascular 6 days a week consisting of on trail 6 to 8 miles carrying 15 pounds. Turning 60 this year and would like to get a couple things done. The next step for me is leading some steep at Indian Creek.

Phew....I don't feel so bad. I think I polished off about 2/3 of a great red.

Now with spring equinox...rebirth and all that.

Some schmaltz...

schmaltz...

Susan, funny. I have schmaltz coming in the form of Passover next month. Time to prepare myself, at least, for that food and wine onslaught.

I'm just lurking but have to get back on the workout horse myself - spent the weekend at 2 different funeral/memorial services - did ok eating/drinking wise but other than a hike on Saturday afternoon didn't work out as much as I would have liked to. It's been a bit easier to reduce portions since I've been doing it for a couple of weeks now.

I'm pretty impressed with the amount of weight i'm losing. 15 lbs in a month. At least if I hit the weights are climb a little and add some muscle I'll still be below the 10lbs.

Going to stuff my piehole at sushifest though I tell ya!
