BASE.... you can still throw down ... Just NOT ON DWP property.
I love it that Bishop is limited development... otherwise it would be like St. George Utah or any other place with tons of "Private Property- no Trespass" signs blocking everything ....
The fact that they "stole the water" really saved the place for US.

I also love the fact that it can't really be developed. 18 years here and I've seen very little change. I moved here from Bozeman (where I was born) and crack up when people say how much Bishop has changed and how expensive it is. :-D

The Mountain Rambler Brewery in Bishop is one of the best things that has happened in Bishop during my last 36 years here. Screw the food menu - a brewery is for beer! Berg heil!

the nice Bishop police officer only gave me a warning for accidentally running a red light a couple weeks ago. It was the first of many good omen's for our vacation.
Ate a nice breakfast at Pupfish café. Love the Mountain Rambler.
