I've been out moonlighting this morning, two nights before the full.
I'd say it's rolling 'round full enough to post these.
Needless to say, I've used artistic license by employing a computer to finish these.
Taken outside of Middle Earth in the parking area at one a.m.

And these were taken moments ago from the landing between 4th & 5th floor.
Paging Socrates and friends.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/summer-solstice-2016-when-is-it-date-longest-day-what-why-strawberry-full-moon-stonehenge-
What is the Strawberry Moon?
It is a full moon, which occurs in June, named by early Native American tribes. It is a full moon like any other, but marks the beginning of the strawberry season. The two events coincide once every 70 years.
It would be so cool to have been at Lovers Leap this morning, shooting
the Strawberry Moon over Strawberry.
Still, even if I'd know about this, I could have predicted that I would be eslewhere. (I MIGHT be here Inn another seventy, but so would donini.)

I like that "pines descending a staircase" order, Ed.
Very frame-worthy.

mousy, nice tid bit bout the Berry! did you aver skate the pool?
sorry no pics, but the moon rise was off the hook in josh today/tonight! pretty sure the temp was still in the 3 digits. most of the day we were shaded by smoke from the I-15 fire. not so funny, that their stress is our reprieve.

No, BB, simply never stopped at the Leap in winter.
I'm a warm-country guy, not a winter sports enthusiast.
I'm sure it's bootiful, as is most everything in that area.
'nother shot of the full-ish moon from this morning. It's really smoky here in the San Jaoquin today, and my eyes have stung all week long. Hence the pinkish color of the moon.

Besides my family, I so miss my Super Topo family while I spend the summer working at TPR. Thanks for carrying on the "Moon" thread! Love, lynnie
PS, Tony Rowell was here a few days ago shooting the meteor showers. He got some fantastic shots.

Tony was here in town about ten years ago. He showed the local SC bunch some of his shots of the night sky with climbers in the Milks. I'll bet his technique has gotten better.
He's a talented man, like Galen.
See you down to da Facelift, eh?
