unless i get unexpectedly snowed in by bad ices, etc...
but i WILL FIND a way... there are a few seasoned drivers, far better than i'd be--that will help... if needs be... :)

Rarely get sick but my Dr. told me "tis the season" which is why I haven't been able to keep up with yo all here on the ST Secret Santa. Tonight, reading all your Whoo's and Wow's, I feel so much better. The Taco cure along with antibiotics and cough meds finally kicking in. :) (Tonight my prayers going out big time to all who are not feeling well.)
We are an amazing collection of grown up kids, which is one of many reasons I LOVE this place.
You Lurkers and Prognosticators and Wishers should do this next year. It's a Trip. Love and Joy to all along with Season's Greetings. A Better Lynne.

The sleigh stopped by my house YES! I'll wait till the 24th to open it at least I'll try. I'd like to post a pic but nothing happens on the iPhone when I push "finish"..any ideas? at any rate Thanks to my Santa !

Merry, merry for every pagan ritual, astronomical event, and snowshoe rabbit. For every snowy owl. For every beautiful winter bird, but mostly for Tundra Swans.
I wish you all the best of everything this holiday season, and special {{{hugs}}} to all the wonderful and warm people here who have helped to hold me together these last 22 months. Thank you.
All right, back to playing now. I have presents to warp and cards to write and fun stuff.
Oh, and I brought up a bottle of wine from Doug's wine cellar, and I am going to open it tomorrow to have with moose steaks. I also brought up a bottle of champagne, so it will be chilled and handy when friends drop in.

I'd like to thank Steve Grossman for helping me in this endeavor. He graciously agreed to ship the Sentinel DVD to my recipient and then emailed me that said giftee had already ordered it. He offered an equally cool alternative and has sent it on its merry way.

Climbski2--EAT THAT SILVER THING NOW! Before it gets moldy...
Wasn't gunna let it get moldy. I refrigerated.
But then just a bit ago I decided I wanted a snack and was rummaging through the fridge..
What the heck
Opened the silver thing and .. Yep Home made fruitcake.
Have had a few bites now.. Yummy! More cakey than some I have eaten but solid and sweet and tasty with chocolate chips too.
No Buzz yet .. Think I'm safe.
I'm just trying to be funny.. SS Thankyou. I really am enjoying it!

I am excited to open it, but it needs to be the exact right moment..... and only the elves can reveal that piece of information. Will be mailing my Santa gift tomorrow and hoping it will be enjoyed to the max.
And today is December 13th with just 11 more days til Christmas Eve. Lovely!!! Tree is decorating, cookies are on the list to bake. Menus of festive breakfasts and dinners and lots of great nibbles to tide us over being created.
Getting out the gift wrap, real table cloths and napkins. Making wreaths and center pieces from the trees and plants that surround us. Writing cards, making calls long past due.....and
Thinking of Dan and all the loved ones not with us, but appreciating to the max all those that are here and have given us their love and friendship.
Edit: Feralfae, my thoughts of joy and peace along with prayers are with you always.

The Museum, Thanks so much for the box of gifts! My kids talked me into opening it right away. They liked the stickers best, but I have the feeling the CDs will be my favorite!

Here is a picture of the suncatcher that Secret Santa Skip sent! Because of flash, the glass isn't showing as nicely as it does in real life. It really does give the impression of a dragonfly on a marshy reed in a beautifully colorful sunset.

Wow Happie--that lightcatcher is soooooooo beautiful! That Skip has a rare talent fer sure, doesn't she.
It's snowing like crazy here in Westchester County...really pretty, really cold, just the kind of day to sit inside with a cuppa hot cocoa, a roaring fire, and a good book. Or possibly the Taco. ;-)
Lynne, I've had the most horrible, debilitating chest cold for over a week, too. Stayed in bed for 3 days straight (for a friggin' chest cold, no less!) Luckily, I caught this thing the day after I'd gotten my Secret Santa gift off to UPS, so I didn't have to worry about that at least. Hope you're feeling much better and are totally well soon.
I'm lovin' the photos everyone's posting up. It's really feeling like the Christmas spirit has found a place on the Taco. (Even Ron's on here! Whooop!)

What a blessing our Post Office is. Saturday morning and only 2 people in line ahead of me, plus the staff is helpful and cheerful. My gift is on the way. :) Should be there by the 21st. :)
L, sending good cheer and prayers your way. Heal soon. It's a crazy bug. Haven't been this sick in forever.
