My favorite Fattrad pathology was his insisitance on repeatedly reposting images of "Certificates" and "Letters of Appreciation" from low-level municipal functionaries. I have mountains of those things, only they came to me by way of the Deputy Director of the Secret Service, a personal letter from Secretary Rumsfeld, etc.
Didn't hang on to a single one of 'em. meh. They didn't hold half the water as, say, an offhand, personal, C4 compliment from Walt Shipley or Duecy or Kevin or Tucker. Those were way harder to come by, and infinately more valuable.
Fattrad, indeed.

I think it's pretty obvious who the WhackAMole is, and it ain't CMac ...
Looks like the whacking goes out to folks who cross the line when calling other users names, even if only vaguely threatening.
skipt, while helpful to those with computer problems, really posted mostly hate and such. I'm surprised he didn't get the knudge when he posted all that copyright'ed material way back when.
Wes, well that boy needs to find an outlet for his anger.
Fatty, I often thought he was just playing the Devil's Advocate, but his posts portrayed the mind of a very ugly, uncaring person. Probably nice in person, but whew.

It's amazing what you can miss by just working hard for a day instead of screwing around on internet forums.
Anyone who writes more than two or three posts in a row whose sole content is "You are an idiot." ought to be banned. There is just no benefit to anyone in doing that and not saying it is just as effective as saying it. What a waste of bytes.
Yes, I know what the next post will say.
And the pornographers should be removed too. There are other places to see that stuff where it doesn't show up unexpectedly. Some of that stuff is just gross.

I actually believe he's probably a well-intentioned guy, but the fact that Fattrad got tooled reaffirms my faith in the world, in a weird way. All the spray from the LEO point of view, and at the same time bragging that he never busted anyone for possession of pot was getting pretty tiresome.
Personally, I don't believe any LEO belongs in the company of climbers. Just my jaded opinion . .

There's a new rule. If you have over 10,000 posts and not a single trip report you are deactivated.
No idea how many posts I have (too many, by any reasonable measure) but it's a good thing I crack off the occasional TR or I'd be in the detention corner with the rest of em.

The Pope doesn't like me because I'm an atheist. I still wouldn't give his name to the police if someone broke into my place. It's just not cool at all to give the police someone's name because you don't like them at the moment.
