Ed, here's a heads up to hie yerself to the Huntington for the Edward Weston
exhibition. I'll post up a few surreptitiously shot iPhone grabs in a bit.
It's not a big show but if yer in the neighborhood...
edit: Yeah, we share that kneejerk CHP response. A few months ago I was
doing 90 coming down the hill from Lake Sabrina when I figured I better
slow down. Sure enough, there he was! He pulled me over for doing 65! LOL!
I got a lecture on how to use my auto-manual to keep my speed down after I
pleaded that I was trying to keep my brakes from melting. :-)
There is a God.

my favorite from the CHP was, well, i was doin' 90 and you were pullin' on me.
he must have noticed the skis, wrote me for 75.
not sure i understand about the show, is it there now?

not sure i understand about the show, is it there now?
I'm not trolling ya, braj! It's there NOW! Not a great show but I think
they are his original prints and it is quite elucidating to see them. He
tended to print quite dark, at least for this book based on Walt Whitman's
Leaves Of Grass. A small Westin show is better than a big almost
anybody else, eh? ;-)
