Not the best pic, but if I had to choose the most beautiful lake I've been to, I'd have to choose Lake Reflection in King Canyon NP. Someone else won a Nat Geo photo contest with a picture of this lake.
Just the tail of the lake, the main part is big and off in the distance.

This is Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. Even a president has called this lake the most beautiful on earth. I accidently erased all my photos off my card before pulling them onto the computer so this was all I had of it....
This is a lake at abou 11,000ft in Mexico.

Thanks guys! Its actually a lake on Nevado de Toluca, which we hiked on a whim. Its the first time I've been heavily effected by altitude. I flew from Anchorage - 30ft sea level - to Mexico City at about 7000ft. Then the next day I was on the peak at 15,000ft.
