hell yeah wes! well said! and haters Idk your stories go both ways just as you say that rascism goes both ways, IM Mexican American and have lived both ways a Mexican can live in the states Prosporus or poverity and the same lesson i learned down both paths still applies to me today in all my 18 years glory "talk sh#t get hit" I was one of dingus's daughters hispanic sisters and I taught them as much as they taught me, have respect for one anothers ethnicity & cultures and think before you speak. Its that simple, joking and blatantly throwing derogatory terms at a race i.e. mucnhkin Chilli bellies, wetbacks, etc. etc are two very diffrent things this coming from a half white half mexican women I can only hope you open your eyes.
Take care

Excuse me - I took French. My grandparents were from Quebec. We lived in a community that had a large french heritage. Over 20% of all international calls in New England were to the french speaking portion of Canada.
Bi-lingual should be speaking more than one language. It has come to mean Spanish/English. That irritates those of use with close ties to other languages and nationalities. Last time I checked, Canada is on our border and has been awfully friendly to us.

Yes Skipt, let's base all of our national policies on for profit sports ventures.
It's pretty sad that you scream about the overreach of government most of the time, but when the government makes a law that literally allows the cops to imprison anyone for simply not having the proper ID while walking down the street (or reporting a violent crime) you defend it with absurd analogies.
There is a difference between what the law was intended to do, and what it actually does in real life. Stop living in a fantasy that this law will only target those here illegally. It won't.
Weschrist said Does AZ require ALL CITIZENS to carry and present proper documentation of citizenship... or just the Latinos?
Technically it only REQUIRES immigrants to. But ANYONE can be checked based on "suspicion." That means if I head to the gym and forget my wallet (and my ID) and a cop stops me and is "reasonably suspicious" and I can't "reasonably prove" my legal status they can toss me in jail right there. That in essence requires everyone to be able to prove citizenship at any moment for any reason.

Blue, refering to Largos Nina's when u said f mx?
Or do you know the difference? Or do you just hate all people of color?
That's pretty f*#king weak to bring John's daughters into this. Lame.

I don't have any problems with Mexican people, unless they come to this country and sh#t on it. That goes for ALL immigrants including white ones.

weschrist said - Please articulate what "suspicion" of being an immigrant might involve in Arizona...
Yeah there's the problem isn't it. They say that it won't be race so I guess they assume they'll overhear someone say "well I was hopping the fence last week."

Most Mexicans come to this country and make it better. You seem to be the one shitting on it.

Skip:
I presume when one is fixed in an attitude for so long, it is hard to listen or try to understand the other side; however, boasting about ones' achievements and feats, indeed deplorable.
A humble man would hold his altruistic accomplishments closer to the vest.
It is admirable what you do for the hispanic community, but not when it is disclosed so you can inflict an attitude of inferiority on another man.
Good day.

HighDesert....the pissing contest continues.....i think you said something about the latinos making this country better....in this town , people shopping for real estate , beat feet when they see the latino housing project is part of the deal.....not saying latinos are bad , but most white people don't want to buy real estate when they notice there is an overcrowded ghetto inhabited by hispanics.....Why is that ? .....Skipt....small world...my uncle was investigating Caesar Chavez for embezzling union funds...as a result , death threats were made against my uncle requiring police protecton at his residence....the issue here is law...bottom line....if you are not here legally , then you may suffer the consequence....i apologize to dingus's 18 year old female relative for mentioning all the standard racial epitats.....i personally think they are distasteful but on the other hand , see the humor in them....lighten up....rj

"MOVING TO MEXICO
Dear President Obama:
I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me. We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. Into Mexico, and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements. We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that I'm on my way over?
Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:
1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. Please print all Mexican government forms in English.
4. I want my grand kids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.
5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my grandkids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.
7. Please plan to feed my grand kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico , but, I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. Flag from my house top, put U S. Flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals and they should not go to school that day wearing anything with the Mexican flag.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.
13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.
14. I want to receive free food stamps.
15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies.
16. I'll need Income tax credits so although I don't pay Mexican Taxes, I'll receive money from the government.
17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Gov't pays $4,500 to help me buy a new car.
18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement.
I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all his people who walk over to the U.S. from Mexico . I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.
Tell him I plan to run against him in the next presidential election and I was really born in Mexico. Trust me, no need to see my birth certificate.
Thank you so much for your kind help. You're the man!!!."

You tell me. Why is that? What is your point? Also, easy on the periods buddy they don't grow on trees.
Stzzo- That is obviously as fake as Obama's birth certificate because otherwise it would totally undermine bluering's legitimate complaint and the entire purpose of this thread.
